The farm tractor engine is very raw, crude and torquey. The driving experience is different from newer cars, yet still exciting. It is surprising that souped up versions of these cars won the 2.0 liter class in 1961. One can only attribute this to the relatively slow revving engines of 1991cc that didn't rev themselves to destruction during the gruelling race in which more exotic and expensive cars retired. Very stylish, yet basic, it nonetheless delivered what was asked of it. I've started to really appreciate these cars a lot more now than I did in my twenties.
Mark, another great insight into your project and great results. Don’t forget, however, the great scene “the customer is always right” from Ford vs. Ferrari, that explains what these cars are all about
Looks good now run the hell out of it , it will get better. I put 363 miles on mine Tuesday. You may want to make an arm rest, it helps on the long drives.
Engine sounds good (once the belt stopped squealing), and what a beautiful day for a drive. :)

Sounds like your getting close to needing a new project? Keep up the good work and love the videos. Keep ‘em coming.
Sounds good - nice to see the project complete and you running down the road. Hope to be there soon as well
Looking and sounding great, guys!

You should have hit the horn a few times so we could hear the dual tones. :)

The engine seems to break up on partial throttle.
