I had a fun idea for a new wight card: *Knight Of The Skull Servants* Level one, Dark, Zombie Tuner, with 500 Original ATK/DEF (500 being the combined sum of a Skull servants own ATK/DEF, on top of just being a neat number to use in general), with the following effect: This card’s name becomes “Skull Servant” while on the field or in the GY. The ATK/DEF of this card is increased by the combined number of "King of the Skull Servants" and "Skull Servant" on your side of the field or in your GY x 500. When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the GY: You can banish 1 "Skull Servant" from your GY; Special Summon this card. When a "King of the Skull Servants" you control would be destroyed by battle or card effect, you may destroy this card instead.
It would be some nice protection for King against monster effects, since Lady only helps against spells and traps, but I'd rather have an extra deck monster. There are 2 old and not worth playing fusion monsters, so it wouldn't be anything new and I think fusion would be the ways to go with wight. It doesn't have to be a fusion, but having an extra deck option for Wight would be very nice. Imagine a link 1 that needs a level 1 zombie monster that has the effect of Grass and if you don't mill a Skull Servant you banish all the milled cards face down and take 300 damage for each card. Along these lines would be something I'd want, but maybe not exactly this, since being able to almost alawys have Grass ready might be a bit broken.

It doesn't help with consistency at all and would just make the deck more bricky. Here's a better sugestion: normal spell You can send one level 1 zombie monster from your deck to the graveyard; for the rest of this turn skull servants you control become unaffected by your opponents card effects. You can banish this card from your graveyard, then target up to 5 zombie monsters that are banished; return them to the graveyard. You can only use each effect of "placeholder once per turn"

You have probably taught more people more about this game than anyone I can think of - sure other people make content about learning yugioh but its never as watchable and digestible as yours. The only other person I would compare you to is Dzeef. I loved the colab you guys did. Anyways just wanted to leave a positive comment since I really enjoy your content - seriously there are times having a video of yours to watch has kept my mind off some awful shit thats happened and helped me make it through my day or go to sleep - and people can be so nitpicky and toxic about the game. I don't think they realize you have other channels and a life to think about and can't memorize all 10k cards. Literally no one does that anyway. Looking forward to the next top 10 or logslog!
The fact it's one of the most literal "fusion" monsters, being exactly everything from Spirit Reaper and Nightmare added together into 1 card. I fear the timeline where it didn't inherit Spirit Reaper's allergy to anything that targets.
@@xCorvus7x Yeah, they both use Rank-Up-Magic cards. The Raidraptor guy and Phantom Knights guy were friends in the anime. The weird bit is that he's using Fuzzy Lanius, which is xenophobic to non-Raidraptor special summons.
@@xCorvus7x yeah but even then typical pk (non-rhongo turbo) does not play Raidraptor card aside from maybe raider's wing or the new traps while raidraptor only play rusty bardiche and boots with few of pk rank up magic and brigandine, they don't synergize that well, it's really just a way to make raidraptor better. The dude playing here is playing some weird variant which includes a lot of bad raidraptor cards.
Grass is good depending on your opponent, and how many cards they have in deck. It's like Relinquished in that it requires your opponent to play a certain way in order to be fully effective. The difference is, most competitive players usually do play with minimum card limit in a deck, which does make Grass an effective strategy, usually
Consider: 60 card Megaliths, with impcantation and herald support. You naturally want high ritual monster count in the deck so your Phalegs are massive, your Phuuls stay relevent longer, and your Belthors are practically one-sided field nukes. A 60 card deck also is much more beneficial if youre running garnets, as your chances of drawing into those garnets is going to naturally be lower. Of course, archetypes that are good as 60 card decks often need to have a higher number of redundant effects, which megaliths are able to do.
@@alexgrandien264 It’s almost certainly that they’re obscure - I play Evil Eyes, the fact no one realizes all they have to do to beat my deck is pop the equip spell is hilarious in a mundane sort of way. If you play off Meta, people have no clue what to do against you.

I have actually been playing a deck just like this for weeks. I tried using some zombie world cards with doomking but I don't love them. Better to have more interruptions I think.
I do want to make a Zombie deck that has Lichi-Rich in it, but I've gotten to dislike Lichi-Rich so much, I'm struggling to not feel dirty about doing it. It's a shame because I thought Lichi-Rich looked cool, then I actually played against the damn thing. Plus, I don't know I want in the deck besides Doomking, Banshee, Zombieworld, Mezuki, Uni-zombie, and Psy-Omega.
God I hate zombies. Just lost to a Eldlich, mayakashi, Doomking turbo Bone Tower mill deck. The guy milled over 30 of my cards Synchro summoning and link climbing with stupid Mayakaahi 😂 and Bone Tower 🤣🤣. Lost to deck out 😅😭. To make things worse I would have won next turn if I had 1 more card in deck 😭.

I've been running this, but as Megalith/Drytron/Nekroz instead. It isn't the best deck, and it's mostly carried by the drytrons, but it is pretty fun.
Made it to Plat 1 with my list (as of yesterday), but dont know how much that actually can be used as evidence of it being good.
Might be that megaliths are just too obscure for most duelists to understand where to disrupt/what to bait out
