The best I can describe Mario 35, is it's a game that quickly turns into a Mario maker level made by a 5 year old who thinks adding more enemies counts as harder.
It's fun.
its weird, it climaxes up to that but then does a hard drop when 3/4 of the players die and then its just 5 people battling it out

@1:25 the Metroid door glitch is a common glitch. If I remember right, if you open a door in a vertical room, then go into a door above or below it while its still open, will cause the graphic to load in the next room you go into. Its been a long while I could be wrong on how to recreate it.

The needing to know the meta is true for pretty much any Multiplayer game. While the hidden 1-ups do exist... they are no different then bunny hopping or learning the shortcuts.

Same can be said for AM2R and Metroid 2 remake for 3ds. I've thought about this for a long time. Basically Nintendo can't make a profit off of fan games which is why they cease and desist them so they can make a version that they CAN make a profit off of. It's shitty but that's just how Nintendo is now. They care more about money then they do their fanbase.

Joel and Vinesauce as a whole is a very eccentric community. Mario’s mystery meat is a game based entirely off of a worm from a completely unrelated advertisement and Joel already had a beta made for his game concept of mashing buttons.

Ok, Joel, actually, I have had that experience before, but it turned out good. I have had squid sushi before, and I can attest, it's like rubber, that's why if I'm going to eat squid, it's going to be fried calamari. Cooking it makes it actually chewable, somehow! But on my birthday this year, I went to get sushi, responsibly, mind you. I thought I was ordering that tamago, but I guess they didn't have it, so I just looked for egg, and ordered that. Masago. It was smelt roe. I wasn't really paying attention. But, I took the order anyway, and gave it a try. It actually wasn't too bad! The texture was super weird, but it had an odd sweetness to it, and was pretty tasty. Honestly best without soy sauce or wasabi. I dunno if I'd order it again, but I definitely enjoyed the new experience!

Fried meatballs the *really* Swedish way would be to have boiled potatoes as a side (or mashes potatoes), along with 'brown sauce' (think a savoury sauce using cream and beef broth/gravy as a base). Some like having lingonberry jam with it, but I don't, I'd rather have some peas.
Not that people don't eat spaghetti with their meatballs here, I do, but it's a different experience which isn't distinctly Swedish.

Getting to high levels early is a better strat since you can start putting putting more difficult enemies into rotation. A lot of people will be forced to waste their coins or get roadblocked pretty hard if you can start throwing Lakitus and Hammer Bros at them while 20 other people are spamming the easier stuff in their faces.
Y'know Nintendo stole this idea from someone called "InfernoPlus" respectively. He made "MarioRoyal". That later got a DMCA takedown by Nintendo themselves, only to then copy the idea and paste the idea a year later. Now although you could say "It's different from "MarioRoyal" in the way it's presented" you cannot ignore that a DMCA takedown was a shitty move. Unfortunately I can also offer a counterpost to that in the name of history. To those who know who Don Quixote is, that was a very very popular selling book back in the 16th century in Spain. However, Cervantes did not get much from his fame, because lax copyright laws at the time kept him from keeping the hundreds of other prospective authors from using his character for their own profitable fanfictions. In the end, Cervantes fans bankrupted him because they cut the pie so thin the slice the original author got made his efforts worthless, so he killed his character off. It is a tragic tale indeed, if the book itself didnt make me die laughing. Fortunately, Nintendo is not on the other end of this stick, but it is a harrowing reminder that it *is* something a company can go through if they let too much control of their IP fall to fans. Still makes me bitter to see AM2R and Royal get the boot though.

Arika, the developer, has stated that this game was in development before Tetris 99 was released. And both games are quite different, they aren't a rip off of each other, they just simply add multiplayer components.
Although this is a very easy correlation to make I personally don't think it's accurate, it was just bad timing. Not to downplay his efforts but something like this would have taken much longer to make than the fangame, and the idea of Mario 1 with some form of simultaneous multiplayer isn't exactly a groundbreakingly unique idea. Plus as Joel states as his preconception, the fangame was just a race with other players in your way, while this is something totally different.
