The Playboy Marg bit was a stunt for the movie, but also it was a milestone for playboy, since it was the first cartoon character to be the playboy bunny for the year Edit: For more context, yes Matt did draw a blue Bush on her, i guess continuity on his part. But each of her pictures in the issue were actually other bunnies over the years. Plus that july issue is EXTREMELY RARE, like its not even on thier archived site or the internet archive. And if you do find it it will peolly go for a few thousand.
@Nick_santana1 ive spent time looking for this, spent alot of time just kinda looking into why it was made, and yeah now i know way to much and here we are
7:56 Holy SHIT. Monster Truck Madness was the first 3D game I ever got for PC. Trouble was, the PC in question was an old office Packard-Bell my parents used for accounting stuff. The result? The game ran at somewhere between 0.25 and 0.5 FPS, if that. So I was trying to play my cool new monster truck game while watching an insanely laggy slideshow, and the dude occasionally saying "They're DOING IT IN THE AIR" and "Roll over Beethoven" wildly out-of-sync.
My grandma used to have it on her computer and I played it for HOURS as a kid. I just figured I'd never see the game again since I didn't remember the name!
I had no idea there was a Monster Truck Madness! We had Midtown Madness and I remember always wanting to play Motocross Madness after seeing it on a catalogue or something around then. Guess our home computer must've been pretty good, it played better than the 3d flash games that came after lol
I was surprised Joel didn't know the game because I thought everyone had Monster Truck Madness back in the day. I'm so glad somebody instantly gave Joey the T-Rex cheat code.
i remember getting a game very similar to Hot Wheels III i never felt so disappointed in my life my younger brother was pushing me all the time while fighting for the keyboard
I had one of those cars you could drive!!! Multiple in fact if I remember correctly. Idk why we had multiple but we did. Yeah they were rad. I had like a blue one that had a gearshift that did nothing. Good times.
The rise of the internet, perhaps. Shareware was a way to advertise a game through disks included in magazines back in the day. Nowadays it's much easier to find reviews about a game and purchase it directly on the developer's page if you find it worth it. Although some companies may still be releasing free-to-play games in exchange for a subscription
I always appreciate you making these. Sometimes I don't have time to watch a whole vod

This is the experience the TRUE retro game-player strives for.

Hot Wheels is based on a classic Atari game. I’ve also played a perfect game of Connect 4 where every slot was filled. It was wild.

Why did people stop making shareware?
Shareware is gone but demos still exist.
