    Love this device! For those who complain about accuracy of watches, now we have a way of testing the claims of accuracy. Thanks Mr Ticks!

      Yep, and so simple to use. The screen is nice and bright and can be easily seen outdoors, too.

    What kind of USB connector goes into the Pulsebit? It looks like a mini, but mini is too big. It's not a C or a Micro. The manual says "Micro D" but I can't find such a thing in my internet searches.

    Thank you for a very comprehensive presentation. Tell me please what is a difference between accuracy of ECG measurement by this device and Wellue BP and ECG monitor. Thank you

    Wonderful tutorial that lessened my confusion upon trying to set up this device! Have you used the software update feature and can you explain how to do that? Does it need to be physically connected to a PC to download software updates?

    • @SWT
      @SWT  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the feedback. I haven't tried to update the software on this Pulsebit EX, but I would imagine it would need to be connected to either a PC or phone for that. When I get a chance I'll try and dig mine out and see if there's an update waiting.

  • @JeffLeites
    @JeffLeites 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Just got mine. Really neat! How do you use the software update setting? I want to be sure I have the latest version (I have v1.7). I connected it to my PC, and pressed software update. It just shows a cloud with a Down arrow. I don't think it's doing anything. Also, as I typed, I thought about the "voice" setting. I haven't checked, but maybe it turns the speaker on/off for those pause beeps.

      Needed the file to download, but the latest is 1.7 so nothing new to upload to the device.

    Another question for you: Does the final heart rate number mean the highest rate recorded during the monitoring period? Thanks again!

    • @SWT
      @SWT  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wow, that's a great question. Just checked it. I got 66 and it moved between 64 and 68 both up and down, so I'm guessing it's an average over the 30 sec reading.

    Can anybody help me please I suffer with severe anxiety and I'm desperately searching for a smartwatch that will display a heart rate monitor 24/7 until I choose to turn it off and look at time or open something else etc. I want it like a ECG style display I find it soothing and reassuring to me, the best example I can give is like the Watch a character wears in Resident Evil 7 called Ethan the main character you play he wears a watch that displays your health as a heart rate I want that in a watch. If anybody can help I would greatly appreciate it. Thankyou

      Just catching up on some missed comments and I have recently reviewed just such a watch for heart rate wit an always on screen. I've been looking for this for a long time, too. This one does it, and it's small and easy to sleep on your arm. Just remember to charge it regularly: th-cam.com/video/mjPuTynwkos/w-d-xo.html
      Also, check out this one for the other arm: th-cam.com/video/5dCQVRA_dag/w-d-xo.html

    It would’ve been nice if you tested them out in the hospital telemetry unit where you could find people with Afib, or ST elevations such as in pericarditis, hopefully not acute MI 😂

    • @SWT
      @SWT  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That would have been ideal, but I have no connection to the medical field to orchestrate that, so we'll have to wait for a tech savvy Doctor to get excited about these things and do that part of the analysis for you.

      Yea! Finally something calibrated with FDA listing that I can use as a baseline for validating other watches and bands that do ECG! 2020 will be totally different than 2019.

    Maybe go to your physician, compare and test these "ECG/EKG" devices. These devices are just measuring your heart rate. It's inaccurate to measure your wrist and your leg.

    • @SWT
      @SWT  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your opinion. You might check some of the advanced documents on this at scholar.google.com for technical background on the accuracy of single lead ECG devices. There's even a device out now that can produce a SIX lead ECG set of charts from a single touch to the leg. Amazing modern technology at work.

    isnt a heart rate of 53 too low?

    • @SWT
      @SWT  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea, usually, but for an accurate reading I would remain still and quiet and try regular breathing. This is not an optimal situation for taking an accurate reading.

      @AUMA86 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Actually, many cardiologist consider heart rate above 40 to be just fine. ( If you have no symptoms of course) i would still recommend to have it checked.

    Including this technology whole world is failed in making medical devices on Android app or on app store bcoz they will loose their old market. Once cell phones will be able to record SpO2 live then we will get ride of these little poops

    • @SWT
      @SWT  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sounds interesting. I'm not sure how you'll wear your cell phone to touch the sensor for taking measurements, but I guess it will be possible somehow.

      Haha, OK, thanks. That goes well with the foreigners' comments that practice their English pronunciations from listening to my videos. Ah, well, it is as it is I guess. Appreciate the feedback.
