- Tending sheep, Moving Cmonsters to new grass, testing cows for mastitis, building a mineral feeder. These are “typical” things on our daily to do list as we grow 100% of our own beyond organic meat. Rhodes family, I really love your Papa. He's such a wonderful, loving man. I'm so very sorry he has the dreaded 'C'. It's a rough road to walk but you folks are fantastic examples of how to treat others. Nice whiperwill in background. Lots of work but well worth the effort. Just start a small garden or raise chickens for eggs. You never know you could become just like the Rhodes family. Remember Nelly--- "Just Plant". That little green pot sat in the front in the sunlight, and kept pushing the Rhodes on to their next homestead adventure. So hard to believe that we waited for that orange bus to arrive, watched the planning, construction and eventual start of the road trip to 50 states.

The radiation will make your Dad more susceptible to infections. It lowers his immune system, If i'm right. That explains why he's been on antibiotics so long. Prayers for your dad. I hope it all works out for him.

@Justin Rhodes, you may benefit more by keeping your chicken water-feeders as COMPLETELY clean as possible... NO ALGAE OR MOLD. I managed an organic chicken commercial operation... It did us wonders..more solid chicken waste and better weight retention.
