If you’re planning to race on 4S, just get a 1900 - 2100kv 1/8 scale motor. That’s the standard range used in 1/8 scale electric buggy racing. If you’re just bashing and want to attain a certain speed, this video might be helpful for you.
I have a 1:8 buggy I am trying to convert from nitro to electric. I want to run 5S at first using LI-ion batteries, and potentially upgrade to 6S lipo down the line. I have the motor mount and the roller chassis. I want to just bash it and have fun for now. What motor and ESC combo should I run? Thank you!
Hey buddy, is it possible to couple two (identical) brushless motors on the same shaft? Of course with separate esc on each of them, same input voltage, possible?
So, I converting a gas car to an electric car, is a 1/8 bougie and I don't know if is okey to use a 3300kv 1200w 15v 80A motor, is it okey for some kind of mix terrain use?
RC college.... Absolute knowledge here. Always look forward to your classes : )
Hey Mike, Thanks for your awesome comment!

Anything's possible. :)
@@need4drift Yes, but will they work without interrupting synchronization?
@@Eden_M Well, let's see what RCexplained has to say about it. :) Happy new year.
@@need4drift You too buddy!
If everything is identical absolutely. You do need separate ESC's and such as you mentioned.
What should I use for a Arrma Kraton 6s Exb Roller
Check out the Kraton forums online
Hey man can u tell me what cheap recievers can take 7.4
I use Spektrum receivers and most accept 7.4v.

It also depends on the cell count used
@@RCexplained Is a 4S
Hello i have a question:
Is the same calculation if use a Ni mh battery? Thank you
Yes, however I would highly recommend going with a LiPo battery pack vs NiMh. LiPo's just have too many advantages over NiMh.
@@RCexplained ok ill try to find a lipo. im new here and found this channel very useful, thanks!
I’m trying to watch this but my ADD won’t let me
