- I apologize for the crying kid in the background about 16 minutes into this video. That's the kid downstairs. I had to stop recording for a while until she stopped crying.
Watch as we inspect allegedly damaged books. I talk to myself a bit as I work.
The first time I experienced asmr in real life was at the school library in elementary. This classmate’s mom was a volunteer there and whenever I spoke with her, I would get the tingles. I would go out of my way to speak with her just to hear her whisper, shout outs to Felix’s mom, you made my childhood nicer.

is it weird that i can almost smell the books? the smell of a library, with all the old books, is relaxing and nostalgic for me.

My absolute biggest trigger is when people whisper or mumble thoughts to themselves while working/doing their job. I am so happy you did that for this video! Please keep doing that! :)

Idk if youd like it but amazon has a "personal library check out kit" i got one for christmas because people borrow my books but its so cute! It has the date stamp and stamp pad, the card holders and the check out cards. Its like 14$ but so woth it! It would be awesome if you had that as part of your roleplay ;)

It was part of my job at the library was to put those Plastikleer covers on donated books when we added them to our collection. It was hard to do. I always got sleepy!

When I was a kid I loved it when my mum took us to our local Carnegie Library. Wonderful hushed atmosphere, it smelt kind of like a church, people whispering or talking in very hushed tones and the librarians were like angels, floating about the place doing mysterious work...but my absolute favourite part was when they took the card out of the front leaf of the book and stamped the card with the return date. Then they would slip the card back into the little envelope and gently thwack the front cover closed. All the while I experienced what I now understand to be intense ASMR to the point where I felt like I was in an almost trance state. Thanks for reminding me of those wonderful childhood memories.
I discovered my first ASMR “ tingles” at my library when I was a kid! Lol. Didn’t know it was ASMR back then. This video is incredible ❣️

Either way, I love that she does all these types of videos. Takes me back to being a child & realizing how totally relaxing the library was. I'd sit there pretending to read a book, zoning out to all the great library sounds. The books, the covers, & the whispering! Who could ask for more?! 👍🏼😉😌

I've never seen this trigger before until now with running your finger along an object. I have no idea why I find it mesmerizing but I do. It's hypnotizing especially with your soft spoken voice. This reminds me of my first ASMR experience when I was in school in detention by myself with my head down and it was dead silent except for two cute teachers whispering to each other in the corner of the room. My brain lit up like a Christmas tree. It was like the ultimate drug. Best detention ever.

I remember getting the tingles when my middle school teacher was helping me with classwork on the computer. She was speaking at a very low volume, but I could still hear her. For some reason, for me, tingles mostly happen when I receive help or action from someone in a given situation; be it at a hospital, in a classroom, at the library, in a store, etc. Happen to anyone else?

I remember going to the public library as a kid before asmr was ever a known thing and everytime the librarian swiped the spine of the book on that slick metal thing it gave me the best feeling..I never knew how to describe it but here we are.

I loved as a kid going to the library, back then no computer of course, so whenever books needed to be checked out, the librarian was going through the paper folders (were in alphabetical order), take the little papers from each book, write your name, do all the admins...I loved listening to these noises, I always liked when the queue eas long cause I got more pleasure then 😀😀😀

I'm always curious about what exactly you are writing when you do the library roleplays. I will never get tired of your librarian role plays. I even liked the bitchy one you did and I don't even like that character style.
Sometimes, ASMR can be really weird. Like the rubbing of the book on the sides and stuff. Weird. But I love ASMR.
