We bought these three karts for £400 EACH!
Cars are expensive at the moment, so we wanted to find the cheapest way to have fun with your mates on track, and this is what we ended up with. know nothing about this stuff. So I searched for the cheapest, most powerful go-kart I could find on Facebook Marketplace - and this is what I came up with.

Cheap go-karts are so much fun. I started my "racing carreer" with a DIY Birell shifterkart i bought for 400 bucks.

I never raced karts officially but have done way over 200laps in my life on rentals and my own gx140 (super old) kart and my cr125 shifter kart when I was 11. Boy that thing was wild when I could barely touch the pedals and my helmet would lift up at 90km/h+ faceguard on my eye level and couldnt see anything on the backstraight of our local track 😂

Yeah, i'm also curious. Probably they realized that at least one of the gokarts has no brakes, so they cancelled it.

It'd have been great if you'd shown what races/classes these carts were eligible for.
I made the mistake of buying a cheap race bike once, and only after found out what class it could run in... and it wasn't a cheap class.
They won't be eligible for anything that has a grid - that's why they're cheap.

Dang, those karts would cost $400 just for a bare frame here. A complete and running one would be close to $1000

I used to race pro karts in the 90's. They are way more fun than you would imagine a couple of genny engines on a frame could be and you can actually get some speed out of them - over 90mph in some places on some tracks. There was some pretty good racing on them back then.
The more modern GX200's drop straight on too...
honestly, a half decent go-kart on a track is probably more fun than most expensive cars driving on the road. The g-forces you can experience in a go-kart are like race car like.

One of the Endurance classes I race is similar to the current Pro Kart, with twin Gx200's. Raced a 6hr on the weekend with a new co-driver, I did about 4hrs of the race, we won our class by 17 laps (11 in class) and P10 outright from 33 karts, only missed the outright podium by 4 laps. The other endurance class I race is single Briggs Lo206's.

Been to this track a few times as its a 10 min drive from me, had a big crash on turn 6 or 7 and nearly flew out the cart, great track though it's like a mini interlagos

Go karts are always fun there not so fast your worried about dying but fast enough you can race them and have fun.
