Love these and appreciate the map shots. Have been wanting to come up to mpls from dsm specifically to ride the greenway and other mpls area trails. Thanks for the info!!!

Thank you for watching and glad to hear you’re looking to come and bike in the Twin Cities. Let me know if you’d like recommendations of other trails to ride.

If you ever get out to the Elk River area, there’s a fantastic rail trail that starts in Elk River and ends in Zimmerman. eventually this trail when completed will finish at Lake Mille Lacs. The trail goes through mostly undeveloped countryside. Lots of wooded areas, and open meadows. The Trail is called The Great Northern trail. It used to be owned by The Great Northern Rail Road. Its super smooth asphalt. Check it out

Awesome, thank you for the suggestion. I’ll add it to my list.

@@jjsbiketrailreview9608 Hey, a good ride would be elk river to Zimmerman. Have lunch at the Zimmerman bar and grill and then ride back to elk river. There’s outside seating and their food is really good

Are these rides mostly flat? Much incline? Curious if you feel like you get a good workout on the city trails?

I would love to see the whole grand rounds tour. Along Minnehaha creek is very nice.

I’m planning to do that this year. I do have a separate video on the Minnehaha Creek portion.

Great tour. Future travelers, make a stop to admire the lovely Soo Line Community Garden on your trip (between Garfield and Harriet) - going strong since 1991. Wood chip trail through the garden so walk bikes please

I have a suggestion of riding the Lutsen 99er bike trail. Not necessarily the race, just the track the racer's travel on. Never been on it, but it does sound exciting and challenging.

Yes, that would be something! I’m not sure my fitness level would qualify me for that, but it would make for a good video.

@@jjsbiketrailreview9608 You don't need to race. Just a nice relaxing ride through Superior National Forest. Your video's are very good. Thanks.

Outdated video. The trail goes all the way thru St. Louis Park now

@@zepps88 Thank you for watching. Yes, this video is from 2020 and the Greenway has been repaved twice since then. I did a video in 2024 about the Cedar Lake Trail and the remaining construction on that stretch through Minneapolis and St. Louis Park. Hopefully the that remaining construction is done soon and I can make a video showing the updated Cedar Lake Trail along the light rail line.

    It's not 12 miles.

Maybe they meant 12 miles round trip, it's about 6 or so miles 1 way

I don't understand why the US doesn't set up shelters for the homeless like we have in Europe. Looks weird, people sleeping in the streets.

@@buddy1155 there are shelters. they're just overrun.
