I memorized the 23 psalm, Eph. 6:10-18, and Eph 3:20, and several others...and God keeps showing me new things in these passages over and over, it's amazing! Last few years I've memorized 384 verses (chapters) I write a lot. I memorize up to 21 verses in 3 to 5 days depending on how difficult they are I love doing it
I learn verses and then forget them or where they are found so we really need to refresh our minds after we’ve memorized them and keep the word active in our lives literally.

Once I paid for the app, I added a collection, searched the group Top 100 then added myself to the group. I also changed the version to NLT. This is so God, I literally started using the unpaid version a couple of weeks ago and mastered a couple of sciptures but I really wanted the paid version. Its just the little things, thank you Jesus for working through Pastor Vlad for the discount code. I've had such a desire to connect to the word and God made a way. This is wonderful. This year really has been a return to Jesus after time foggy and distant. Here’s a sort of testimony. What’s funny is, I have an almost lifelong background in the theatre: memorizing is old hat. Every director will tell you and every actor knows that getting off book is CRUCIAL. Someone may have good instinct and cold read well, but that’s nothing compared to how the subtext will come alive when they know it inside and out and don’t have to pause or refer to the script. And better yet, you gotta be word perfect. We are not authors, we are story tellers, we are messengers, and it’s not our job to change the written words. I have known all of this to be true for years before I experienced it with scripture. I am familiar with many- if you recited the classics, I’d go, I’ve heard that!- but my first memorized verse of the year was recently 1 Cor 10:13. And I tell you, every word is richer and more encouraging now. How can I be surprised? It’s what I’ve always done but far more true and far more timeless. Thank you for your voice and others making this beautiful discipline part of our generation again.

Memorizing the bible is extremely important. Not only to keep God's word in our hearts and mind but also when you have to deal with demons. You don't always have time to open your bible during the fight. Also - satan is a master at twisting the scriptures. That's why we must know the bible as well as possible.

I wish there were a transcript of the hundred verses. I was sad to see that this particular app collects and shares my data with third parties. I don't use apps that mine my data, so will not sign up for this particular app because of that.
