  • The complete process of building a two drawer, multi-wood (walnut and tiger maple) desk.
This segment (4th video) covers the following:
    1) Expansion and contraction of the desktop with humidity
    2) Use of buttons (to flexibly attach the top to the apron)
    3) Fitting the drawers (runners, kickers and rails)
Credits for videography go to Marielle L. Vander Schaaf.

Your book took me here. I am trying to learn woodworking at 52yrs old, being semi retired.
Learned about your boom from Stumpy Nubs.
I really wish I could send you pictures of things I built, just to get your thoughts.
    Consider me subscribed.
    Thank you, Master.
    Dan

Hey Dan, How's your woodworking going. Love to hear what you're doing. Please ask any questions if you have them. I just got started in using a lathe and am enjoying it. I chose not to spend big bucks and so far I'm happy with what I bought.
