@IH1256 .. looking out the widows during the day is no issue, its about the same as looking out none tinted ones on a cloudy day.. tho i kinda have a hard time using it a night now.
@fishnick1990 yeah it should be just flying with that 5 bottom. we pull a IH 720 5-16 with our 806 in clay and it handles it way better than that. I like them 68s put he probably handled it better with some weights.
It would help the front stay down we have a 67 856 diesel and we pull a set of 22 inch mal board 4 bottoms and at first we didnt weight it and the front end would just come off the ground and here we went back to the farm and put 1200 lbs out front and it made a world of difference
Nice video, that 68 looks like it needs some rear weights too! Never seen a tractor with all the windows tinted like that 1486, how the heck do ya see?
looks like there is only one guy here that knows how to plow which is the guy on the 1466.. The guy on the 1486 can't plow in a straight line, the guy on the 1468 thinks he is Mr.BigGuy with the most hp he has no weight on the front end the guy on, the 1466 knows how to plow, the guy on the 1456 eh he can do better
The 2 operators with out cabs have the best set up tractors for plowing
Very good looking bunch of IHs. I relly love the 1468! I hope to get some videos of my 1468 ploughing soon. Thanks for shairing
Great video. And you really showed the importance of front weights with the 68, looked like he was having a good time keeping it going straight
Love the sound of red power, great video!!!🚜
@W806D these are not weak.. we just don't pull our plows in 1st or 2nd hi in heavy clay, we don't like tearing up our implements is all

the fronts are a 14"rim on a 14Lx16.1 tire and the rears are 32"diax 27'wide. they are the original cast center steel rim combo for the 30.5x32's
looks like there was some serious compaction there the way it pulled those tractors down in a few spots..
Awesome display of classic RED POWER!
My neighbor has a 1468 with the M&W TWIN TURBO SET UP ON IT ,,REALLY MAKES THEM AN FIRE BREATHING monster

The memories many hours in seat of 1066 plow disc packet drill to harves

What size rims and tires are on the 56 Series. Needing to replace the 18.4 38's on my 1466 and those look awesome.
The one with twin stacks was a bad ass pulling that with no weights i couldent tell what model it was
Like the 56 series the best but they were all nice what gear were you in 2nd or 1st?

great video the v8 has hard time keeping up good he has a ta
them intershmashibles are working pretty hard lol
it is an IH plow day!
Is a tillage unit better than a plow?
What size front tires are on the 1486?....looks good.
and look at the tires on the 56
Now That's what I'm talking about!!!!!!!
Why do American farmers almost never have cabs on their tractors. They work with it in winter too.
De Cnijf Kris Cuz they got big cojones.
De Cnijf Kris its more enjoyable wothout the cab
Put some weights on that 1468
I don't think front weights would help that 1468. Those 68 series tractors were junk! The didn't perform as good in the field as they looked!
@W806D and how does it ruin the video
its a 1468
He needs a weight on the front!
same with the 56

John Deere 8260r 1468 doesn't have much torque though.
the 66 should not have been pulling a jd plow
The driver in the front tractor can't drive straight.
