What great store, I’m jealous because the nearest aquarium shop to me is 1500 kms away lol, they have a great selection of rocks and driftwood 👍

Hi John, I was really impressed with this store. Pity it is 50 min away, otherwise I would be there so much more. Well then again it is not 1500km away. Dam that is a bit of a drive lol

This is my workplace, great to see it being show off, although I'm a bit dissapointed it looks like you came right before new stock comes. Usually the plant tanks are totally full, and some of the fish tanks were rather empty compared to what they usually are. There was also a big shipment of the bonsai trees that arrived just after this too!
Thanks for the great narration, I'm really proud to be part of the team there

Hi Bree, I will definitely have to do another visit. I am really glad I found this store. Great staff, awesome products and variety of fish. Maybe next time you can take us around the tanks :-) I do really like the fact that there is something different, not the same fish I see in every store. Thanks for having us.

How are the tank heated , and are they on a sump system or just the sponge filters

Great video! I actually went into this store today to see how they where going as it is a bit of a drive I haven't been to it for awhile, I actually went to it when they where setting up and forgot about it, I was so impressed at how it turned out and the stock they had I offered to do a video on it my self but you have nailed it, and to top it off they told me you did the video and I hadn't known about your channel, so I have a new channel to Sub. it was one of the cleanest and well presented shops I have been to and I think as fish keepers we are lucky to have them, they take care of a lot of things you just can't get in most shops and seem to be keeping up with trends witch I love, we don't have to many stores around that cater for aquascaping and what I really liked is they have a good range of natives and a lot of natural products that we as fish keepers don't se enough of in a lot of stores, around here anyway, they where very friendly and eager to help without being pushy even though they where obviously very busy, this store is a credit to them, they are obviously passionate about the hobby without trying to overprice their products 🌾🐠🙂

Hi, thanks for the awesome reply. I agree with everything you have said. I called this store a little Gem, because that is exactly what it is. I am so glad I found it. The more we support these type of stores the better for our hobby. Once again thanks for the awesome and detailed comment. Cheers

@@TheUrbanFishkeeper The good thing about these little privately owned stores is they have attention to detail, I miss the old days when they where just about in every suburb before the big chain stores took over, I try and avoid them and everyone else should as well, they settle in put the rest out of business and then don't bother stocking the stuff we need and to top it off good luck trying to sell or swap any fish or plants back to them, you are correct we have to support these stores, I worked at one of the larger stores and I won't mention the name of it but they where more interested in stocking plastic plants and basic fish and cheap products that had large mark ups on them, they heavily medicated the fish to keep them from getting sick in over populated tanks and in turn the fish wouldn't last very long so people came back to buy more, not good practice.
