Hello Nick, first of all I would like to say great job! I am at that point where the block needs to be put back together. I have a question, is it possible you could put the torque measurement for the rebuild? I tried to find a way besides here to get in touch with you but seems like this is the only way. Have a great day!
He heated the pistons so they would expand and make it easier to install the wrist pin. You can freeze the wrist pins simultaneously which shrinks them and helps a bit as well.
I'm not believing that this video is non spoken tutorial at the least.....sped up so there's nothing seen on a how to do level and all of that loud metal mosh pit music.....w.t.f....you can't be serious
Nice work dude I have a similar setup.
Sweet man!!

After you got all the pistons in, what did you weld on the back of the block?

i was wondering what websites or books you used as reference to get everything to spec
Nissan Factory Service Manual and www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/tech/rebuild/rebuild.aspx
happen to have a write up of the rebuild and torque specs?
Nick Earwood Anyway I can get you to email me that pdf??
Nick Earwood You're a great guy! Thank you so much!!
Whyd you bake the Pistons?

Makes them a lot easier to install. The procedure is listed in the factory service manual.

О, да. Я удалил многие из этих частей, но для удаления коротких с работой между ними требуется слишком много времени.

Очень хорошо. У меня VG33 в 280Z в других видео. Тот же двигатель, с турбо.

Stock made 300HP, so hopefully at least that to the wheels and I'll be happy.
@@BLOZUP I've made 500 on my stock motor and it's still running after 4 years how did you manage to blow the motor.
@@rustywrench500 It wasn't blown, just low compression. We bought it like that. Worn rings as far as I could tell.
@@BLOZUP where did you buy the TT engine?
@@ricardolokoloko It came in the car.
