I told an American friend of mine many years ago that I think Ghana is not poor. Endowed with many natural and human resources, we are a blessed country. Gold alone should make Ghana one of the richest countries in the world. It's the system and one day we'll reach there with disciplined and corrupt free leaders and citizens.

Can someone tell me what at all he has done in governance that has made Ghana a hell hole so that we can have a debate with all the facts available. We've seen some youth upstarts with the backing of the military and their civilian collaborators and their outrageous promises for nineteen years left no legacy behind but rhetorics and an economy with a 180 percent inflation for Kufour to come and deal with. They promised justice but left injustice, they promised parity in economic conditions but left behind the widest economic disparity between the rich and the poor. They couldn't even leave behind a country that could feed herself. A dilapidated health system that couldn't support the very poor they used as the face saving excuses. All of a sudden we have forgotten that we're a building a nation with a knee deep foundation on all fronts. A foundation that cannot support the kind of lifestyle that we foolishly have been indulging in. No eight rotation of parties can ever deliver any modicum of development that we all are craving for. Let's deal with facts dispassionately before we heap all blames on the president. He didn't create covid.

But rather Ghanaians deserve a government to provide enabling environment for jobs creation to produce goods for domestic and international markets.
Exactly. Buildings don't define a people. The mass majority of Ghanaians cannot afford to live in some of these places nor eat at some of these restaurants.

It appears that many Ghanaians are expressing their positive comments about this video. However, it is important to acknowledge that most of these individuals may never have the opportunity to experience such luxury themselves. Understandably, everyone has their own preferences, but what matters to me is that even middle-income earners in Ghana may never have a chance to experience such luxury, whereas low-income earners in the US can come to Ghana and live like royalty. Unfortunately, there seems to be a growing trend of citizens leaving the country due to economic struggles, and the influx of foreigners who come to Ghana for fun and relaxation does not necessarily benefit the local population. The businesses tend to raise their prices, making it more difficult for locals to afford the basic necessities. While Ghana may be a desirable destination for foreigners, many locals will take any opportunity to leave the country. Nice video though
