May I ask what head camera system are you using so as to record your how to repairs. Looking for some advice to make some car repair videos.

Absolutely. I am using a GoPro hero 8. I use a variety of mounts to film my videos. I have a head mount, chest mount, selfie stick, and a tripod. Depending on what I am doing depends on what mount I use. Sometimes the head mount doesn’t allow me to get a close enough shot or I have to constantly adjust it. But having different mount options really helps. Thanks for watching.

My 2 liftmasters died at the same time. I'm assuming it was a power surge. The units are completely unresponsive. How do I know for sure that it's the motherboard and not the power supply or capacitor?

My best suggestion is to test the power supply with a volt meter or tic tracer. Make sure your outlets are also working by testing those. Possibly the GFCI was tripped when the power went out? Openers are sometimes installed on the GFCI circuit in the garage. You can also take the motherboard out to see if any of the capacitors are bulged. Maybe buy one, and see if that fixes the problem? Odd that both would go out at the same time.
