Your experience leaving the church sounds a lot like mine! I took Mary, the saints, and the sacramentals, and have incorporated them into my paganism for years. I’m also a huge fan of Judika’s book-I found it at my local library! I’ve also found Butler’s Lives of the Saints in my library as well. (For anyone looking into saint veneration, the library is a great place to start.)
My heart literally fluttered watching this video, it brought me so much Joy. it’s like founding someone who speaks my language for the first time. I am Mexican/American raised in Mexico until the age of 19, I am 37 now. I was raised catholic and I also been reading tarot for the last 12 years or so. But I love my saints and working with them. The Santo Patron from my hometown is San Agustin, and have been praying to him since I was very little. I used to have a collection of holly cards growing up but today I only have 2 ☹️, lost them when I moved to the United States. I am so thankful you shared those patron saints flash cards, I will look for them to teach my kids about them. You are such a joy to watch, and very knowledgeable, I will be binging everything I can find on your channel about saints lol. Thank you for sharing.
Me finding this after just paying $100 in a Facebook Group for Voice of the Saints deck hearing you says "don't pay someone $100 in a Facebook group" like 👁👄👁 LOL. I'm so glad I found your page. It's exactly what I've been looking for. I feel SO connected to the saints in a way that is hard to explain. I'm sure I'll make the most of the deck :) I can't wait to dive into your page more!

I totally agree with you. I converted to Catholicism nine years ago. I have been reading tarot for more than 40 years , just for friends and family. I have got to get that deck and edge it in red like yours 💗💗💗I have the second saint deck I bought years ago .

The Holy Card deck, OMG. It's the only thing I'm asking my kids for for Christmas. I come from serious Catholicism, Catholic school... the whole bit. My mom was a nun but got rheumatic fever and couldn't taker her final vows which gave her time to think about that choice. Good thing for me. My favorite altar is dedicated to all The Madonnas, Angels, St. Michael, Joan of Arc. St. Francis Jesus. I haven't worked with St. Expedite but when I'm ready, I will. Voices of Saints is out of print and difficult to find in English and at an affordable price but I'd love to have that too. For now I work with all my prayer cards from relatives that have passed, the rosary and my statues. The altar is in my bedroom like a good Sicilian Mama della. I live alone so I could do these things. OMG, Forget about voices of saints, The flash cards are so fun. I never knew they had something like that. There's another book you might like, Patron Saints A Feast of Holy cards. I work with psalms. Wonderful video, thank you.

so interesting. i was raised in the congregationalist church, so i have very limited (read: hardly any) knowledge about catholicism. naturally, my path is very different from yours. however, i do love watching your videos in celebration of the diversity of everything that is. 💙
I love those flashcards. Loved what you said about St. Michael being the uncle you call to bail you out... lol... that's so true! He's been watching over me ever since I started dabbling in the occult and I've called on him many times to help me out when I've felt out of my depths. My patron saint is St. Cecilia... is she in there? I remember picking up Judika Illes' book at a bookstore years ago when I lived in the UK and I regret not buying it then.
Unfortunately, today, the Holy Cards deck is around $85 with shipping, so unaffordable for me. It looks like a beautiful deck though. The Lo Scarabeo saint deck looks like it would be great to use as saint cards. One could just look up the saints on the internet for info. That's what I do. Whatever need I plug in "who is the saint for...." 😊 I purchased a box of saint cards and missed the part where they said each saint has 4 cards. 😂 I was so disappointed to get a box of a few of the most "popular" saints with quadruples of the same card. 😂 I love the flash cards! OK, I ordered the flash cards! 😅 I was looking for a good introduction to the Saints so... Thank you! Also, I bought Judika Illes' book, not the one you mention here, but the Daily Magic. I think it's a great way to learn more about Saints and Magic in "fun sized" portions. I love it. I'll look for her encyclopedia very soon.
The flash cards are cute as all get out and they must have been created with love and childlike wonder because they brought that energy into my home -who can't use a bit of that? I have all of Judika's books. I should feature them in a video. They are like cookbooks. They spark my own creativity. 🤗🖤🧡
I've been pulling the moon card a lot lately. I am always a little confused about what this card says or what the card is supposed to tell me. With the image of the "mysterious" moon, the dark sides and fears I can not connect much. Could you maybe make a video about this card?
I will always hate Lo Scarabeo and their guidebooks, hahahaha. Everytime a pretty deck for my eyes comes around and see that it's from Lo Scarabeo I just don't buy it. I don't care how pretty they are, I won't fall into FOMO anyways. I only own 1 tarot deck from Lo Scarabeo (soon to be 2 because I love the art of certain artist) and 1 oracle and that's it. I won't buy anymore from that company. Those Holy Cards tho... I'm not even Catholic but used to go to the Church months ago because I wanted to learn something from the religion... I would like to have those to learn the Saints. I've been interested in the Saints lately idk why. Maybe in 2 years I'll get it hahaha.

Well I bought the flash cards. I found them for $17 on Amazon. My kids are in Catholic school and I will be using these with them!
