- Our first video on the Boatman Vulcan which will be launching very soon!
Using a marker float as a reference we test to see how accurate the GPS gets, showing multiple angles you will see just how accurate the gps is. Totally hands free navigation and accurate within a meter of a range of up to 500m!

When can I test them 😊
The water was pouring over the front of the boat and was soaked. Is the boat front/battery compartment waterproof?
It certainly is!
Morning guys. I am literally on the verge of ordering the Boatman Actor Plus with GPS when I stumbled across the up and coming Vulcan. However, as I'm not on social media I couldn't find any details surrounding it. I see you've stated it'll be £625 with GPS and due out in the summer but how else does it differ from the Actor Plus with GPS? Just trying to establish if it's worth me waiting for its release or not. Thanks.
Hi Dan,
Has mostly the same features in regards to gps as the plus, there are some improvements such as how fast it arrives at destination for example. These are due in around June
When are they coming out or going on the website?
We estimate around June - July
what price is this an will it have remote with deeper onit like actor baitboat? what price that together?
Basic version will be £375 and GPS approx £625. Due to launch in mid summer around June. This model will not be available with sonar
Is it top loading or bottom?
Top loading
Do they return home after dropping your rig
On the gps models yes they do
Why is there so much water going over the front of the boat? My Plus doesn’t have that problem
Water was quite choppy
GPS looks spot on, but I'm gonna be honest. The amount of water coming over the top of the boat is disappointing. Maybe look more at the design the help with this? Great vid tho.
It was a very windy day, water was quite choppy. This model is completely waterproof, including the battery covers also!
It's also carrying the extra weight of a sportscam/GoPro which may have impacted on the way the boat is sitting in the water.
