UK TV Spot for "Batman" (1989)*

*Speculative reconstruction, of course.
Weirdly, for a film with as much hype behind it as "Batman" (1989) was, it's weird that I can't actually find a single real post of an actual TV ad or "TV spot" advertising the film around the time of its cinema release. Soooo, felt like doing one myself, using the US TV spot "A Hero in Black" as the template, ESPECIALLY the HD version someone made using Blu-ray footage of the film.
I tweaked the levels and especially the audio a lot for authenticity and consistancy but it was really hard for the main stuff here, given the "HD version" still uses a crude from-VHS version of the audio that was clearly taken from an upload created about a decade ago. I did my best, anyway! I added parts of genuine 1989 UK ads too for extra authenticity. I based the stuff at the end of the "Batman" ad on how UK posters for the film looked too.
I actually thought about doing this a while ago, but I guess the timing is apt right now. ;) I also have...a lot of stuff to share but all in good time, it's been a strange few months but I've been getting by nicely. Hope you're all doing well yourselves!
(Apologies for the repost, btw! Needed to fix an audio imbalance issue with the music by the end of the ad vs. the rest of it. Hopefully it sounds okay and not too loud and still fits, I can't use headphones atm due to ear issues that've come up but there we go!)
