  • New Zealand's most senior police officer has made an historic apology to the people of Tūhoe for the so-called terror raids. It comes almost seven years after the controversial raids in which police descended on the Urewera Ranges.

Genuine question. What was the pretext used ? You'd hope that the mistake was over reaching authority. Or was the reality that there was zero evidence?

Dear Te Karere, could you please enlighten me why you've decided to use the phrase "so-called terror raids" ??

they thought Tuhoe was conducting Gurrilla Camps in the region so they raided the region under the impression it was a terrorism

You have to wonder who really is behind this nonsense. The police are working for someone other than the people of Aotearoa. Work it out.😢

The problem is NZ governments red or blue keep apologising but never really mean it because they keep doing similar crap. Ross Ardern was in Tokelau confining people to their homes for up to 9 months for not getting a jab for a virus that wasn't even on their Island all while his daughter is apologising for the Dawn raids that he was part of. Government apologies are just for show. It's become very clear the NZ government does not work for it's people but takes directives from somewhere else

You need to sue them bro, they were wrong, and they admitted it by apologizing. Sue them for wrongful internment
