When I gave you the smoke aid, I thought CV would detect Daring, so I took A and tried to detect the people there, but things didn't go as expected. There is nothing to do, it was a good game
I'm a legends player, that like to see the pc game. A little fun fact about the d7p. There are actually multiple designs. One with torpedoes, one like the utrecht. One with better armor. And one with bigger guns. And then the final design of the d7p. It's crazy how many designs are made before the final result that gets build. The same goes for the holland and friesland class destroyers. The friesland class is an improved version of the holland class.
FFS these things have UK/German HE pen which translates to 32mm on T10 by default... With decent fire chance too. Well, these things might be pretty good actually.
I feel the Wg can be lazy at times in creating new ships for this game and just using old resources, the end with the daring the only difference I would of done I would of stopped as soon as you spotted him at 5.6km away and tried to wait there behind that island for the 40 seconds, you would of got air spotted but you probably would not be torped cause of the angles, well played though brother.
Pretty interesting ship! You need to consider that its very weak in terms of survivability. You dont have smoke like Jinan/Smolensk. You dont have radar/superheal like minotaur. You dont have insane maneuvaribility like Colbert... you basically sitting duck. I think smoke dd in squad will be very important for it, because it really suffers from any ship. Insane glass cannon. Weird to say, but even more glass cannon than Colbert.
Low caliber destroyer AP isn’t the best on angled targets, you need to switch ammo types depending on what you’re fighting. On broadsides the AP does a lot of damage tho.

did you not show the perma camo coz you forgor or is that just not in the game yet? i'm really hoping it's not just a lazy single tone colour like prins.
Looks really annoying, but fairly balanced in terms of strength. The damage potential seems pretty low based on its DPM and its lack of opportunity to fire, mostly due to survivability.
I guess the "drawback" of having more spammable airstrikes is having a worse hull, but to be honest Gouden just gets fucked by overmatching BBs anyways so it doesn't even feel tanky most of the time lol, so Ultrecht doesn't even look that squishy and they'll both play the same way behind islands.
Looks fun to play but super unfun to play against, so a net negative for the game... I really wish WG took the negative experience of the players dealing with the new gimmicks, subs and annoying stuff like this into consideration when adding new ships.
To you: everything naval is negative. This is a cruiser with no utility or survivability from anything. It's literally a French CL without the spaced armor and hydro. It's only utility is it's AA; which requires an aggressive or negligent CV in the first place. Players like you are exactly why the Forums have been shut down
