    This was awesome. I'm always looking for new lighting techniques and ways to use cheap lights to get great setups. More please!

      Glad I could help! I really like coming up with stuff like the door light. It’s like a giant LEGO set :)

    Wow, so many great new tools to consider. I'm a shooter that really enjoys working with lighting and grip tools. Thanks for the links to these products and demonstrating them.

    This idea of putting led panel and bounce on one c-stand! So simple but genius!

      Cheers! This was probably the 10th version of this I tried. Works great above camera to give shadowless fill.

    Great Video :D Any tips on how to put a light overhead for cheap?

    Quick question for you... my main is an aputure 120 with a softbox (30K lux @ 1/2 meter) and fill is aputure tri-8 (23K lux). I have a Lightstorm with barndoors I’m using for back/ hairlight.
    This is great except when space prevents me getting it far enough benhind the subject to get a good angle, so I’d like an option to get a hairlight up above to avoid the space issue.
    However, the Lightstorm is so heavy I’m concerned about mounting it over an interview subject’s head (never mind the cost and effort of lugging a c stand and sandbags).
    I was wondering if you think the cello would give enough light output to work as hair and shoulder light, if I’m using the 120 on full power… would it give enough output to balance this situation? Thank you very much for your advice!

    Great tips man! Was wondering how you'd mount the yongnuo 360 on a light stand horizontally? I have a cheap clamp/head that doesn't seem sturdy enough!

      I use a Quaker clamp or screw the light into the arm of a cstand

    Can you do some more videos on some cheap lights similar to the yongnuo that have colour options?
    Or even just normal cheap white lights that are good to keep when shooting...

      Will do! Thanks for watching.

    Good stuff just started following your channel. By the way, will you be going to Cine Gear next week? Also how do you spell you first name, I didn't want to hack it up.

    What is the type of fixture called that you're using on that Quasar?

    • @Crimsonengine
      @Crimsonengine  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s just the 4’ Quasar bongo tied to the light stand and plugged into the wall.
