The first farm I worked on was a lot like yours technically. Nailed to the post in the grainery was a bagger. It had two spring loaded poles that extended out at a 45 degree angle to hold the bag open. We had 40 dairy cows, 500 ewes, and 500 acres of corn, hay, oats, and winter wheat. What corn that didn't go up the silo was picked with a new idea picker or shelled with a new idea picker sheller. The shelled corn was fed to the lambs because you didn't have to grind it. Things are way to complicated now.

Great video, Tim ! Somebody made a hand bagger like yours one time for us but it had wheels so us kids could handle it better . Somebody else like it better, borrowed and and kept it ! By the time it was missed nobody could remember who borrowed it ! FWIW, I remember running the bagger on an old M-D combine using burlap bags . Oats I could do, but wheat was too heavy . Still remember saving bale twines for cuttinng to tie bags . Can you tie a " Miller's Knot " ? Keep the videos coming !!

What is the maximum moisture of corn u have put in this crib that didn't catch mold or any other problems?

With that narrow of a crib, you can put higher moisture corn in and you really shouldn't have any problems with it drying out. How wide is it?
