Awesome! Hercules is performing across the board. Miluakee obviously will always be top tier in every category. I just wish HarborFreight would stop putting all the tool variety in Bauer and do it in Hercules.
Looks like they're releasing more and more Hercules tools. Problem is, their warranty sucks compared to other manufacturers that have a lifetime warranty.
@@mwes95 I'm not aware of any brands besides like Flex which is now walking back the life time warranty, Milwaukee has the same 5y warranty but it needs to be shipped to them vs over the counter no questions asked with Hercules
@apollo_144 I use it for 5 to 6 months no complaints very happy that I went this route, I got it because of the 5 year warranty on tool and so far I don't regret it.
Regardless of what brand you like the fact the a company like HF is starting to put out extremely competitive products is a good thing. If they keep it up and 5 years down the line the mew tools have proven reliable all the bug companies are gonna have to start lowering prices
Thanks for another great video. Hercules might not have finished faster than the Milwaukee, but it was not far behind. I just picked up that auger bit. As for HF's warranty goes, i dropped my drill the other day (they are torque monsters) and bent the drill bit. I brought it into store and the swapped the whole bit set - no problems. It was still in the 90 days, for what that's worth.
Those Hercules are $49 right now as part of their 2 for 99 Hercules promo. Super impressive. I have all Milwaukee Fuel stuff but man.. I'm gonna go grab some Hercules tools as backups because their 8 Amp Extreme batteries and impact drivers/wrenches are part of that 2 for 99 deal. Just such a great deal for what you get. Ryobi prices.
The electric clutch on the Hercules sucks just like it sucked on the Milwaukee GEN three on lower settings, and the auto stop on the Milwaukee really is great works flawless. Considering those two things plus theM18 platform size and that Milwaukee is a proven tool the price difference is justified. All these tools are starting to get real close in performance. These bigger companies are going to have to start getting creative so the Hercules performing at this level is a good thing for consumers.
The Hercules drill from Harbor Freight is pretty impressive and has earned a lot of fans lately for its performance and price for the tool only cost. Now we just need to see how well it holds up to job site abuse to know if it can really hang with the big boys. For the money, it looks like a great value. But if you're already in the Milwaukee battery line, I don't see too many Milwaukee fan boys switching to Hercules for just one or two tools that can perform almost as good as the existing Milwaukee line up. But props go out to Harbor Freight for offering a Hammer Drill and impact driver that can perform just about as well as the long time top dog in the industry for a fantastic price (tool only). Once you factor in the charger and batteries, and if you can catch the Milwaukee on sale during Black Friday or a Father's Day hack, even the price point for both brands isn't that far apart.
With all the deals harbor freight runs the price point is very far apart. They just had a deal for $120 u got a brushless hammer drill a 5Ah battery and a charger.
i have a request . i want to see the effect the batteries offer .could we return to this review maybe and use a 12ah forge or all of the forge batteries .the hercules would be the baseline to compare .
Aren’t those torque settings not speed settings? Idk, just wondered. Not that it matters, lol. Like the video. I have Dewalt stuff. I have drills, hammer drills, grinders, etc…I have the need for a 1/2” impact and 1/2” ratchet for working on my truck. Debating on Harbor freight vs Dewalt.
The only issue I see with the Hercules is that the auxiliary handle design seems a little weak. Also, it’s tough to beat Milwaukee in price during the Black Friday sale and other promotions.
Harbor Freight still has better promotions, coupons, and does it more often... right now, you can get a 5/8/12ah battery for half the price of a milwaukee & the tool for free
@@wildbill6976 I have to agree with you about that. I also don't really care for the ergonomics of Milwaukee power tools. I just wish Hercules would release a compact mid torque drill. Something around 750 to 800 inch pounds.
@@wildbill6976 I can’t argue with that. I just wish Hercules would make a compact mid torque drill. Something between 750 and 800 inch pounds would be perfect.
Both tools are made in China by brands owned by Chinese companies. If both tools will do the job and are reliable, then why buy the more expensive one?
Nah what you guys pay for cordless drills I could buy three electric drills and they will last longer too. I only do cordless when it's small projects around the house. Cordless will never beat electric
Hello Marius-MM I'm Andy from jimihome. We have sent you many emails. You have received the product for a long time, but you haven't replied to us. What's the reason? Please reply to the email and upload the video according to our requirements, thank you very much jimihome andy
I have this Hercules drill (also the 1/4" impact driver), and am very happy with it. This video makes me even happier about my purchase.
Same here!

@@mwes95not even milwaukee has a lifetime warranty. And all new Hercules brushless tools have a 5 year warranty on the tool and 3 year on the battery.
@@mwes95Milwaukee doesn’t have that. Hercules is the most convenient warranty. New one no matter what.
I saw a video 2 days ago, HF is launching new Hercules tools line-up. They claim to be more powerfull.

I just got this hercules drill it's very similar to my coworker's Milwaukee im very happy with my purchase.
how well has it lasted?

This was a really quality and unbiased video, thank you for putting in the time to make such detailed content! Wish you all the best man
I feel sorry for those chasing the hype and " most power " you will never be satisfied

Good Video! Hope you can make one including the newest Metabo 36v Hammer drill,
Should do another demo with the 5.0AH on both.
Harbor freight has really stepped up their game
Considering the price difference the Hercules is doing a great job
Considering Hercules hasn't been around that long says a lot about the tool.

Great video, thanks! How does the Hercules feel in the hand comparatively?
Milwaukee-like a BOSS!!
The Milwaukee is a beast, but for the money and practical use for non trades people... The Hercules makes more sense.

I think I’m about to pick me up one of these
Excellent review
Awesome video. Got a subscriber!
Great video. Hercules didn’t win, except in the price category, but it’s right on their heels.
All the BIG TOOL BRANDS NEED To UP THERE GAME NOW
I have Milwaukee stuff, but if I was starting over, I'd just get the Hercules stuff. It's totally legit & the prices smoke Milwaukee.
Hercules for the win from a warranty standpoint alone.. Then add the cost savings.. No-brainer
The only issue I see with the Hercules is that the auxiliary handle design seems a little weak.

Amazing hurricane I own both tools the Milwaukee is a better tool but for the money to Hurricane can do the same thing
Love it

You can get the drill from HF for $48 if you buy the bundle and return the 5AH battery and charger. Or ya can get all 3 for $120
Milwaukee can turn off anti kick back

The question is how long harbor freight last in couple years abuse? 😂
