"What's the number to the safe?" "1228! 1228!" "Bah! A mere coincidence!" "Yes, but two coincidences make me think it is a pattern. This makes me confirm that the man must be Yanni Yogi!"
That beginning and ending were elevator music. My feelings are a cross between "How dare you?" and "Well played." Is there an appropriate phrase? Probably not. However, congratulations on giving the style of music topical relevance; that's not always done, or done as well as this.
just noticed that the use of an elevator as crime scene is a reference towards the "everything that goes up must go down" saying suggesting how Manfred would go up to being the best prosecutor and being brought down by the press of a "button" or case in this manner
Honestly, Turnabout Goodbyes doesn’t seem too good upon a first playthrough. In my opinion, “Day 4” was the Only noteworthy thing about it, but as time progressed, I began to notice Subtle Detail after Subtle Detail, to the Point where I still argue to this day that it is my Third Favourite Case in the entire series (Right before For Tomorrow and Farewell, My).
I just realised the four gunshots used in the middle of the song had meaning, one for the bullet that shot Manfred, one for the bullet that killed Gregory, one for the bullet that killed Robert Hammond, and the one Yani used to fabricate a witness!
Phoenix: This is the bullet used in the DL-6 Incident. This was taken from the heart of the victim, Mr. Gregory Edgeworth. The bullet is preserved quite nicely, with all the ballistic markings intact. Edgeworth: Ballistic markings... Phoenix: You may recall the term. It came up in the first trial, two days ago. Judge: Ballistic markings are the fingerprints of a weapon. All bullets fired from a gun are marked with that weapon's unique pattern. By examining the markings, you can tell which weapon fired the bullet. It's quite accurate. Phoenix: We have two bullets in our possession. One, the bullet removed from Gregory Edgeworth's heart. The other, Mr. von Karma, is the bullet buried in your shoulder. We could analyze both bullets... Then, if the markings matched... We would know that both bullets had been fired from the same gun! The very same pistol... in other words, the murder weapon that killed Gregory Edgeworth! Karma: Mmmph... mmmph! Phoenix: Mr. von Karma? You will let us remove the bullet from your shoulder. Then we'll compare the ballistic markings to those on this bullet... And solve this case once and for all! Well, Mr. von Karma!? Karma: Mmmrrrrrrgggh! Uuaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh! Uaaaaarrrr... aaa...oooh. Worrrrrrrggg... aaa...oooooh... Edgeworth: That scream... I've heard that scream before... Wait... I know! (Flashback to fifteen years ago...) Gregory: H-help! I can't breathe! Karma: Quiet! I said quiet! You're not making this any easier! Gregory: Stop breathing my air! I'll... I'll stop you! Stop breathing my aaaaair! Edgeworth: (Get away...! Get away from my father!) **BANG** Uuaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh! Edgeworth: It's that scream I heard in the elevator! Fifteen years ago... von Karma! It was you who screamed! Judge: Mr. von Karma? Karma: Wooorrrrrrroooorrgggh Eh...Edgewoooooorrth......... ...Ehh...Edgewoooooorrth...... Only...you would... dare...defy me...! Edgeworth: So... it was you! Karma: You and your father are my curse! Your father shamed me with a penalty on my record! And you... you left a scar on my shoulder that would never fade! I... I'll bury you! I'll bury you with my bare hands! Death! Death! (...) Judge: It appears that we have come a very long way to the end of this maze. Fifteen years later... Mr. Miles Edgeworth? Edgeworth: Yes, Your Honor. Judge: You were innocent. You are innocent. Edgeworth: ... Judge: As you said, it was all a "nightmare." Edgeworth: Yes, Your Honor. Judge: This court finds the defendant, Mr. Miles Edgeworth... *_Not Guilty_* Judge: That is all. The court is adjourned!

The beginning and the end is like elevator music. This was made for the Christmas special... In December 28, Gregory Edgeworth died in the elevator. ... It is nice Christmas Special...
Damn those ninjas! Always chopping onions around here.. I liked that part at the end, correct me if I'm wrong but you were going for an elevator music feel, right?
guess who's listening to this on the 28th December? This remix was really beautiful and ultimately also bitterly sad. I admit that I cried during hearing it. The gunshots and the elevator music were really nice touches and the end especially. I liked he different pacing. Overall it is so amazing. Thank you for your great work!!
Bit late here but that elevator music feel is such an unbelievably clever touch, well done. The Reminiscence themes never get enough love, as far as I'm aware there hasn't been a single official orchestral version of any of the mainline trilogy reminiscence themes, yet they are some of the best tracks in their respective games. Thank you for making this
This is freakin’ beautiful... made one of my favorite tracks from the series even better... The fact that it sounds like elevator music makes it all the more better... the gunshots, too... this is some amazing attention to detail right here
Well was not expecting this for the Christmas Remix Jazz definitely puts a new twist on this song and that ending though, harsh O.O I have nothing more to say but keep it up and have a Merry Christmas!
this may sound a bit strange but this is my theory. You hear ten gun shots in the song right? well, they might symbolize all the people related to the DL-6 in any way: Gregory Edgeworth Miles Edgeworth Manfred Von Karma Yani Yogi Polly Jenkins Robert Hammond Misty Fey Mia Fey Marvin Grossberg and Redd White
This is utterly fantastic! This feels like it should be part of the game. I wasn't really fond of the DL-6 Reminiscence until now. Thank you and have a merry Christmas!
Have a depressing x'mas! Yeah but I kinda agree it's a good song but strays so far what the original encompasses.. It feels like an original boss song than a remix despite the fact that the original theme is present almost always...
"The prosecution believes we have found the real culprit behind the DL-6 incident. Thousands of witnesses have seen him making bangers. And when they thought an original cannot be improved, he just released a banger remix using the already perfect track."
Lol i remember this music the begining when i was in my hotel and i go to the elevator and i heard this music lol the manager must be an fan of ace attorney XD And i was freaking dancing hearing that music in the elvator xD
1:46 Spoilers ahead! Spoiler! As a person who prefers Franziska over Miles... Its not that much of a suprise that I almost cried... But I'm so obsessed with the games that when I almost cried I turned away so... I might have a little bit more love for Miles... But ya never know! (I babble to much)
Hah, wouldn't that be funny. If the principal track for a notoriously sad incident was really just a warped version of normal, everyday elevator music?
This remix really is amazing! Just wondering, but will you be making any more Ace Attorney remixes? I really love your remixes. Edit: Oboi that tragic ending..
Aaaah I've forgotten. Today is the 3rd day of Edgeworth murder trial! I heard some rumors, that both defense and prosecution are going to bring in the infamous DL-6 incident :O
The beginning sounds like elevator music - what a coincidence :)
is it a coincidence????? ;)
+LOrbSheddy I DON'T THINK SO
God dammit I hate it so much that I love it.
"What's the number to the safe?"
"1228! 1228!"
"Bah! A mere coincidence!"
"Yes, but two coincidences make me think it is a pattern. This makes me confirm that the man must be Yanni Yogi!"
Oop-
That beginning and ending were elevator music.
My feelings are a cross between "How dare you?" and "Well played." Is there an appropriate phrase? Probably not. However, congratulations on giving the style of music topical relevance; that's not always done, or done as well as this.
How played you!
I think "You clever little shit" has the vibe you're looking for.
Or touché.
Is no one gonna point out the sleigh bells in the beginning too? Cause, y'know, Christmas?
O-Objection! That was... Objectionable..!

My mom always thought this remix was glitching when those gun shots came on
Tapp OBJECTION! Yani Yogi fired 2 gunshots at Miles Edgeworth! How do you explain this, Mr. Tapp?!!?
@@calistoyew1313 i.imgur.com/dV60guv.gif ...because the other 2 are the ones fired during the DL-6 incident.

I love how it sounds like elevator music. Nice irony ;)
Reminiscence themes are massively underrated. Thanks for this remix!
i love the use of those sleigh bells, signifying how the crime was committed on christmas eve !! this remix is really wonderful sheddy.
This was the most emotional aspect of the first game in the original trilogy. I'm glad to see it be making a comeback. Merry Christmas. xD
It sounds like a breakdown/final confrontation in one of those really intense Ace Attorney Online cases. Great work as always
Kinda creepy how this sounds like ELEVATOR music in the beginning...

I wanted to enjoy Christmas but this one prosecutor keeps wanting revenge!

I just finished replaying Gyakuten Kenji 2...

This is such a great gift ! You are so good man, keep the good work !
There's a strange Hotel Dusk feeling coming from this cover, especially the "elevator sections". I very much like that.
Ngoooh!!! Love this!!!
nice, this event happen around Christmas so great timing
I know what im blasting through the speaker in school this christmas...
ohhhh man, this is my new jam! thanks for this amazing Christmas gift 🙌
Have a depressing x'mas!
Yeah but I kinda agree it's a good song but strays so far what the original encompasses..
It feels like an original boss song than a remix despite the fact that the original theme is present almost always...
mechashadow "boss battle" makes me think its kinda illustrating Edgeworths inner turmoil and Phoenix fighting in court for him against Von Karma
At least it's no longer a cold case. Thanks for the new remix!
this is soooooo good
perfectly captures the mystery and intensity of DL-6
Never forget DL-6 :'(
NOOOOOO I HATE HOW GOOD THIS SOUNDS IT'S SADDD
Edit: I hate how much I love how good this sounds because this is edgeworth being sadd
I like this Reminiscence remix, but one I'd like to see is Reminiscence - Forgotten Legend. I always really liked that one.
My favorite part of this is the extra-funkalicious bass.
*Dances in Disco Depression*
One of you best remixes tbh
i love how this was posted at the same day when edgeworth's case happened. dec 25 2016 :(
the comment section made me rethink this entire case
I like how the first part sounds like lift music
It's so fitting...pure genius.
this is awesome
Time to listen to this again
"The prosecution believes we have found the real culprit behind the DL-6 incident.
Thousands of witnesses have seen him making bangers. And when they thought an original cannot be improved, he just released a banger remix using the already perfect track."
Lol i remember this music the begining when i was in my hotel and i go to the elevator and i heard this music lol the manager must be an fan of ace attorney XD
And i was freaking dancing hearing that music in the elvator xD
How can you be so good, god dammit.
Merry Christmas And Happy DL-6...
First elevator music then sleighbells.. love that detail

Spoilers ahead!
Spoiler!
As a person who prefers Franziska over Miles... Its not that much of a suprise that I almost cried... But I'm so obsessed with the games that when I almost cried I turned away so... I might have a little bit more love for Miles... But ya never know! (I babble to much)
Merry Christmas
you should have uploaded this three days after
For the beginning: Imagine this is playing in an elevator ... and you are riding it ... that would be pretty depressing and is very ironic
I would scream
guys it was almost christmas, not christmas
Man the only thing I need now is a simon blackquill track your stuff is rad
amazing! i love this
this remix still goes hard
this is so cool
So beautiful
The first part sounds like elevator music? Me and other Ace Attorney fans know that that is *fucked up*
1.5 sounds like an objection theme
Awesome as always
I know iam 3 years late
Hah, wouldn't that be funny. If the principal track for a notoriously sad incident was really just a warped version of normal, everyday elevator music?
This remix needs more recognition nnnn
Nice elevator music
I like this song
Brilliant
Elevator Music ;D
Normal people with a time machine: "hey i'm your grandson"
Me with a time machine: "NOO EDGYWOTH! DON'T ENTER THE ELEVATOR! USE STAIRS!!! 😭😫😫😭😣😭😣😭"
Brb imploding internally
Love that bass
Imagine an Ace Attorney Dancing game with this song.
This remix really is amazing!
Just wondering, but will you be making any more Ace Attorney remixes? I really love your remixes.
Edit: Oboi that tragic ending..
Of course! Ace Attorney remixes are a mainstay of this channel~
That's great to hear! :D
May I know what Ace Attorney themes you will be working on? Or would you like to keep the suspense?
(。◕‿◕。)
Almost christmas
thank u cons
Aaaah I've forgotten. Today is the 3rd day of Edgeworth murder trial! I heard some rumors, that both defense and prosecution are going to bring in the infamous DL-6 incident :O
if edgeworth here's this music he will never use the elevator again
HAPPY HANUKKAH GUYS!!!
Polly! Have we forgot something?
father and son, reversed
the elevator music and gunshot..
EDGEWORTH!
why this sounds like Apollo Justice in some way
Bro set the first part to X2 and rap
Joel Hutchison Lol
