Came to see this video after living with one of these units while house sitting. I LUV this model!

We've owned ours about 3 days, and absolutely Love it. Not a single con except that it runs long cycles if you choose ProWash which saves electricity. 2 hrs 25 minutes for a no-dry ProWash and about 1 hour longer 3hr 30 minutes for one with dry - Extended dry. So just run it at night. Otherwise, perfect.

With top control - are you able to reach in under your counter top when the door is closed? We often will be running a cycle and then someone needs to take a shower and with our house you need to make sure the dishwasher or the washing machine are not running. So just curious if you can reach the panel to turn off. My counter top is the older fiberboard and comes down over the edge of the cabinets.

Hello! Yes we are able to because we have about 1,5- maybe 2 cms more space, about the width of your thumb above the panel. This depends on how your counter top is cut, but if it is cut leaving a slight gap where the dishwasher goes, you can reach the touch-buttons. The buttons require no physical press, only your finger heat to activate. Zero effort, beautiful.

So much space inside and it's quiet. It doesn't seem to have a control lock feature which is a major bummer.

I wish ours had one too. This is the only thing I could find missing on ours.

Bought this at Costco, had it delivered and installed replacing an older KitchenAid model. This one is a Whirlpool with a fancy handle, very cheaply made, door flexes when opening and did not do a good job cleaning. The 3rd rack is so big it interferes with the 2nd rack. Do not recommend this dishwasher, there are better options available. Installer told me this is a fancy whirlpool nit a high quality product

I disagree with James here. He is 100% entitled to his opinion. Here comes my response in disagreement:
The door closes securly and the handle needs to be 'pulled' with firm force to open so it cannot be opened by a small child even. I have a 4-year old, I would know. Next, the third rack is amazing as it holds normal sized coffee/tea mugs on the left, and normal sized beer glasses / juice glasses on the right. Yes, they really fit. The far right of the third rack hold 'hand wash' dishes such as knives and wooden spoons which you should hand-wash but it doesn't damage them much at that level, so try it! Next, this rack does not interfere with the 2nd rack, as the 2nd rack can be lowered. We fit a large 1- liter octoberfest beer glass, very tall - into the 2nd rack. Remember its right-side of the 2nd rack that is for tall glasses or pots / pans, and the left side is for not tall things, so keep that in mind and you are golden. The bottom rack, which I call rack 1 is used for only heavy-washed dishes as it has strong more high-power water spray pressure.
      Enjoy!
