Hey. NZ police. I’m wanting to be in the New Zealand police force, but I’m unsure of the NCEA requirements that are needed. At the moment I am in year 9/2019, in Hamilton. Every day I look forward to joining the police force.

Ok so being a cop in NZ you don't need any specific NCEA requirements but level 1 and 2 maths and english would be preferable.

Megan Sanchez yes. As @lalacream said, I am only in year 9 but this gives me an opportunity to be able to configure what choices I make when moving forward to the more senior years of high school. At the moment I personally think that I am doing quite well in my schoolwork.
Hey Joshua, level 1 and 2 Ncea is preferred but not essential... then you have to do the physical test which includes a 2.4k, grip test, jump test, push ups and you should be able to run atleast 10km ... The time and limit that you have to perform depends on your age and gender. Oh and you need a full license or be able to sit your full by the end of police college.

Hi there, I have a general question, I have been doing heaps of research. But I was wondering what happens on high demand days that are also holidays such as New Years eve? Do you get paid overtime, time in a half? Or, are you expected to work it and it is apart of your remuneration?

I really want to apply to become a cop after I leave school but the only problem is that I have dyslexia and dyspraxia so I find writing and reading difficult i also find learning physical activities difficult espeshily ones that involve lots of hand-eye coordenation. what support is offered at police college that will help me fufill my life long dream of being a cop?

Hi Charlie my mates a cop an says we ain't aloud to bust or shut down the drugs..that comes from the top..so your not really doing anything to make nz a better place for my kids.an alcohol shud only be for private fuctuons or for at home..you guys a just costumes .
