Strong heavy players doing well is always sick, but I'm legally obligated to cheer for Marth
One of the things I love about Marth is the self expression he allows for. Stretch plays the aggressive marth, as opposed to say Leo's marth, which spaces and is more patient like his playstyle with Byleth. Both work just as well and there's not really one single way to play. One of the things I've noticed is that Stretch doesn't grab that much in a lot spots where I would, and he tends to favor landing up air and shield breaker instead. It works great for him, and I'll try to apply that more in my own play. There's a reason why he's on stage and I'm watching from home.
Trust that those grabs are good ideas too. Put em all together and mix your opponent. Happy marthing :p
at 9:48 that was NOT a marth sweet spot side b. a tipper would have completely obliterated Ridley with no chance of di at that percent.
Yeah with that much rage, Ridley would've exploded.

Why couldn't the smash team make the sour spots of f-smash strong as Lucina's?

@@davesnow7133 They should put more damage to the sweet spots, add more hitstun to the sour spots, and have the sour spots of Marth's f-smash, down-smash, neutral-b, and bair be as strong as Lucina's.
Why in the fuck didn't the smash team fix Marth's f-smash, make his fair stronger, buff his bair, and give him a combo jab?
I have been playing Marth wrong
It was a counter not an up that made Rigley bounce off stage at 4:25 😂
They were probably referring to Ridley's UpSpecial which hits like a bus, and as such makes the counter ridiculously powerful.
Man Marth already sucks against heavies but Ridley in particular does really well against Marth and Lucina so props to Stretch
