    Thanks for the video! My slider window had stopped working some time ago, and after watching this, I found that my seo fuse was blown. After replacing it, the fuse blew immediately. Turns out my wireless charger cable in my console had been pinched at the hinge and was causing the short that was blowing the seo fuse. I popped off the underside of the console door and repaired the wires(all 3 were severed). All good now!

    • @elchanojose
      @elchanojose  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hello! If the fuse is burning after a few weeks, then there might be a problem on the wiring or the operating motor over loading the system. We did not have that problem of the fuse burning again, but if we find any new info about this we will share it. Take well care!

    Replaced the 10amp on the drivers side and it keeps blowing it. Any ideas of why that would be happening?

    • @elchanojose
      @elchanojose  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hello! One thing you can do is lubricating the rails or the areas where the window slides right at for both sun roof and rear window, to allow the windows to open easier with less friction. The motors might be working more than normal do to the friction happening and the fuse overheats causing it to go bad. Try that and see if it helps. Take well care!

      Did use some graphite in it. Also tore the console apart and found the wires for the wireless charger were broke. Hopefully repairing those also helps.

    I have a 2016 gmc and I changed the driver one and it stared working but it keeps popping making it to burn out the fuse

    • @elchanojose
      @elchanojose  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Sergio! In your case, it sound like the motor might be struggling to close and open and this causes the fuse to overheat and pop. The rails or hides for the sliding mechanics for the glass might need lube to slide freely and put less stress on the motor. Try lubing up and see if that helps. Take well care Sergio!

      My third brake light or cab light , the seal or gasket was literally gone with the heat from sun ,so water went in and made a short at the bulb so that made the sunroof and slider widow burn fuse on driver side. So also check that cab light.
