I find as I've spent many years in the hobby, I've transitioned from detailed paint work to something more akin to your work here. And I enjoy it just as much.
Yeah, as much as I would like higher quality painting, there are just too many minis to get done so I've lessened the quality to have more quantity. Everyone has to calculate that tradeoff for themselves.

That paintjob for Apocalypse Dawn is amazing.
Those miniatures came out well. And they do look like really thin lightsabers. They might be right, proportion-wise, but still thin.
