Hello Friends,
Today we packed our bike in the car and headed out to test- how long does it take to bike a mile on bicycle and ebike.
Now, most advanced riders are riding much more than a mile at a time, so it's important to consider the average miles per hour over several miles.
Speed also depends on
bike

skill
weather
terrain
elevation
In order to improve your riding, gradually improve your average mile per hour.
We have been asked this question a few times with bicycles and ebikes. How long does it take to bike a mile?
The first cycle test was - a one mile casual ride. Not breaking a sweat or increasing heart rate.
The second test was- one mile as hard as we could pedal
The third test was riding the bike in full electric mode with a 1000Watt electric motor.
The ride was tested in a no traffic area through a parking lot, overpass and on a road with plenty of twists and turns.
