Hi there! I am a Restaurant Manager which is now not on the CSOL list. Will I still be able to apply for PR after the two years like you could before with the 482 visa? Do I have any pathway to PR?
SID looks very rosy on the outside, but one needs to read the fine print. For this to transition to 186 Employer nominated PR,salary for first stream is 135k.that doesn't happen with Indians or non-whites for a long time. Then the other one is 73k. It might take 2-3 years but then csol is dynamic. It might change by then. The bottomline objectyof the govt is, study for 2 years, get 4 year work experience visa in form of 482 and go home. Maybe a very small % will qualify for 186.
A few professionals are paid well beyond 135,000k the real issue is, for the specialist pathway if it still require a skill assessment, not all have the means to pass the skill assessment ie having access to payslips and employment certificates.
@@nicolethomas3984 all PR applications must have a skill assessment. That's a given. I think those earning 135k + and not have evidence such as payslips etc, shouldn't ideally qualify for PR. If they are not paying taxes now, then they don't deserve PR either.
@@nicolethomas3984 TRT-Temporary Residence Transition might not require under certain circumstances but it is based on a case by case basis. It's not a universally applied condition.
@ I don’t agree here as the TRT stream is for those already working in Australia who’s skills would be considered ‘adequate’ based off of their work experience in the country. Therefore no skills assessment is required. Under the Direct Entry stream a skills assessment is mandatory.
Will the TSS and SID be considered as separate visas? Basically, my occupation isn't there in CSOL, will it mean that all doors are now closed to get the sponsorship?
So for specialist pathway and for IT or software engineer professionals who's paid over $135,000, is skills assessment still required? If so, whats the point or advantage of the specialist pathway over core skills pathway.
Hi, Thank you for your explanation, I am currently on 482 visa TSS medium stream and I have new employer who intend to transfer sponsorship. which stream should he apply for the new nomination? Do I need to apply for a new visa? taking into your account that my visa still has more than 2 years left
