I have a 482 for restaurant manager for 2 years. You mentioned you need an extension in order to apply for a 186. Can you instead apply for the 186 a few days before the 482 ends? Otherwise, I won’t be able to get an extension as my occupation has been removed?
Can local governments sponsor employees, especially in cases where specific skills are in demand? Would love to hear if anyone has experience or insights on this!
Hello Karl, thank you for putting out this video. I have a hypothetical question. What if for instance, your first visa is with Anzsco code 141311 and this was granted to you 2018 to 2020 but you worked 1 year only. Your next visa was granted 2023 to 2025 but with ANZSCO 141999. You have the same employer for the two instances doing the same tasks. Do you qualify for 186 TRT?
I am currently on a 482 visa as a research analyst. My occupation has been removed from the list. Am I eligible for the TRT stream visa or the DE 186? Thanks and appreciate your reply in advance

I work on 482 visa but I didn't work for 2 months after 482 granted so It won't be 2 years to apply for TRT visa. Can I extend 2 years more on the visa again and able to apply for TRT to be permanent resident?
Hi sir I have 4 and half years of experience as a cook and currently hold 482 . I have positive skill assessment and competent English but no formal qualification just get it through RPL am i eligible for 186 de
Even we have eligible. Also without the employer sponsor no use of this Visa. The toughest Thing is to find the employer. No one talk about how to find employer
If someone in short couple of months from 482 and have applied for an 482 extension, can he apply for 186 TRT after staying and continue working under bridging visa for another couple of months to achieve 24 months in total? I mean whilst waiting for 482 extension grant. TIA for your feedback. Cheers.
Hi mate, I hope you're well. Wanted to clarify whether work experience gained on 407 training visa be considered for 186 DE? Your response will be appreciated.
Hi mate, what would happen to visa application fee (would there be a chance to get refund?) if during the process, sponsor goes into financial hardship / restructure which would result in redundancy of the position? I am asking this because I am going to apply with my family and it is quite expensive and long processing times can lead to higher chance of the bussiness facing some risks during the process. I would really appreciate that if you could help on answering this.
how about the 485 visas working 3 years same employer any possibility of any of those category
may be you can go for 186 DE then if your occupation is on CSOL

There is also the over 45 chance if your earnings are high income, right?
No. That’s for English exemption. Not for age

Whether the one year of work experience used for skill assessment eligibility counts as part of this three-year requirement in subclass 186 DE?
