- The Knicks and the 76ers squared off in Game 1 of the First Round of the NBA Playoffs and The Garden Faithful were ready to cheer on their team. The Knicks found themselves down by as many as 13 points in the first quarter but were able to turn it around and finish off the 1st half up by 12. It was Deuce McBride and Josh Hart off the bench in the 2nd half that helped the Knicks seal the victory for a 1-0 series lead over Philadelphia.

Maxey is the Elite version of one of our beloved draft picks Immanuel Quickly. They have the same exact game, it's just Maxey is much better. This may not be Dontes series, we may have to start Duece next to JB and let him smother Maxey the whole night. OG should not be guarding Maxey AT ALL, Too much foot speed with that kid. this can be looked at in 2 ways, one is what Francesa said, the knicks needed so many dagger 3's they hit near the end as well as Robinson playing a career game and hitting those 2 big free throws late and they only hung on to win.. Or you could look at it, as the knicks were shooting pretty horribly in the 3rd, Brunson should have a better game, and if he does, the knicks win by double digits.. Going to be a tough series it seems no matter what..
Embid health will decline as the series go on.
The longer the series, the worse Embiid's health will be, the better the Knicks' chance in this series.

Knicks 12--15 vs East playoffs teams this season (Celtics, Bucks, Magic, Cavaliers, Pacers, Sixers and Heat)
Knicks struggle a bit without another scoring option (Randle) and size. It clearly shows beginning of game and down the stretch. Sixers will adjust and played well. Deuce with great defense and scoring plus Mitch great defensive plays and contributor defending Embid. Sixers will adjust and Knicks need to prepare. Brunson doubled team and clearly show team needs Randle. Brunson needs to bust out in game 2 to go up 2-0

Jalen was forcing it too much at times when he didn't have to. I could understand if his teammates weren't open but I saw at least 5-6 times where he could have easily made an extra pass and didn't. Go Knicks!

Tyrese maxey especially he was as dangerous as ever, and embiid even semi-healthy is a threat as always
Mitch was better than ihart at center lets call a spade a spade he was better offensively and defensively when ihart was missing his easy floater, could have more minutes as the series goes on

Thibbs is so stubborn. Mitch did a great job but if the Knicks don’t start double teaming Embid earlier….we gonna lose. I don’t understand his philosophy of not double teaming because it’s been done by the greatest coaches and yeah Embid is hurt but he’s still a one man army and killed us on 1 leg.
This so wrong!! Why let the others for Philly get comfortable with open shots. You let Embiid get his and Maxey. They’re gonna be tough shots no matter what because of our defense.
