Yay, thanks for reacting to my request!! It's definitely one of the most gorgeous Bollywood videos in my opinion. The abundance of gold color, the clothes, the architecture.. And of course the vocals.
I didn't watch the movie either but from what I gathered the main dancer is indeed trying to seduce the king, who is already married to the woman overlooking from the gallery (played by Prianka Chopra, amazing actress). The expressions of the wife in this scene are on point. So yeah, maybe not the best context if you ask me (seducing someone's husband, etc.), but still a fantastic song.
Loved the way you talked about the visuals and the gold hue in the music video! Usually people talk only about the music and what they think is happening here, but completely neglect the beauty of the video and the clothes and everything...
I don't think I have ever seen any other indian music video with enough care given to how it looks. So enticing!

this is a part of movie where the dancer who is muslim fell in love with the king who is hindous and he brought her as a concubine then he married her even tho he was already married to priyanka's character ( the women who was watching from above and she is nick jonas's wife in real life)
