The indigo setting(5 clicks after running at blue) is even lower temp than blue AND automatically runs in a “sesh” typa mode. You can get like 5 solid hits if you and your mates puff gently.

After a couple of months of using the PIVOT, I've learned that less is more. Keep the amount about the size of a grain of rice. Nice device, I love it! I use the ROUGE 2 for herb, it's a great device also!

The only problem with the e rigs is you still have to pack a puck and scraper if your going to use it making harder to just slip in and out of your pocket like a cart can

I started back in October of last year buying stuff I got 2 5x5 tents a 2x4 and a clone/mother plant tent aswell as outdoor grows when the time is ready (March) everything fully equipped from AC Infinity I spent like almost $10,000 that plus the accessories like bowl trimmers dry sift screens fertilizers, bubble hash washers these past 15 months. it would’ve been kind of silly to buy the Rosin press first
I don’t see anything being more portable and accessible than a good ole plug n play. This thing has surpassed any cart or pod I’ve ever smoked and is so easy to get faded on the go. Although dabs are on another level don’t disrespect the cart/ pod community 💪🏻

That plug and unplug thing you were experiencing happens to all Puffco devices. When I have my new peak charging and I go to hit it it stops charging until you unplug and replug it in
When you account for cost of carts or top shelf flower, you will save so much money with a batch of quality rosin. Assuming you have a low to medium tolerance level.
It will last longer you only need one little hit because it’s a lot stronger and they have a lot of pens and like nectar collector style pens that make it really easy to use don’t need a big piece and torch no more super easy and convenient
Love my pivot I’ve used it as my daily driver everyday even with my bongs gives you a great hit on low I use it all day on blue but the battery could be better and the top cuz it gets clog a lot for me but you gotta do little dabs i might be over packing my a lot so I have to clean it a lot but I love it but it’s really easy to get that wax all in the top so another top would be nice
Was looking at this but went for the Tronian Gammatron wax pen and been very satisfied with it for a portable option without resorting to carts. Especially like that its got a little concentrate storage bucket built in and the mouthpiece has an integrated loading tool.
Ive had devices with the exposed coil like that one. Good luck getting old charred concentrate cleaned off that coil good enough to get another hit and not taste it. Yocan has TONS of products with these coils. They work for a moment while the coil is clean and new, but once you dirty it up, You need a new coil. After a few times of this, youll be up to the price of a Puffco pivot or even the new peak. Ive been using my Proxy for over a year now with the original chamber that came with it. Much more flavorful, enjoyable hits without the harsh cough that comes from direct coil contact.
Wow this actually looks awesome. An old work friend had a big puffco that i would do dabs with him while on lunch break and i had the lookah sea horse pro dab pen. I still use this pen but i hate having to replace the tips all the god damn time. Cat knocks it off the table and the quartz cracks. Haven't checked your channel in a while but im glad i did because i just got really big into dabs again because it got dirt cheap at dispos in Massachusetts all of a sudden. Thinking about getting the dry herb attachment, I've been a dry herb vaper for years but only really use my vestratto and Dynavap. How does the pockety dry herb vape stack up to a full on ball vape? Does it get like 80% of the way or should I just get a nice ball vape to get the endgame experience?
I might have to look into this one. I tried to get one from Waxmaid but it broke after one day and they still haven’t responded to me about a replacement for the chamber or about a refund. I had horrible customer service even before the package was delivered when I didn’t get the order confirmation after being charged, but this was just icing on the cake. Hopefully if I try this pen your advertising it works a little better.

That's sort of what they're for. Low temp, high flavor. You want a little puddle instead of char and burning. If you want to use the entire dab, try titanium

It doesn't have passthrough charging. I noticed people saying this even though Roger said it doesn't support it. Put it this way. Run the battery down completely to red where you need to charge it. If it gives you a hit plugged in while still on red, THAT is passthrough charging. The battery needs to be charged enough before you can get a hit, It doesn't support passthrough charging. Another way to tell is there's usb-C cables that tell you how much power it's using. When you turn the pivot on, it stops charging.
I dont use concentrates or even flower a whole lot. But thus looks way more convenient than the honey straw i have. The whole thing if torching a glass pipe really turns me off to straws but with having younger kids around a rig isnt a viable option.
if you take massive dabs get the aeris just because of its massive chamber, it does get hot on bigger sessions. Not hot enough to where it worried me at all. The aeris battery life sucks you are going to have to plug it in a lot. I do like that you can set your own presets on the aeris. The pivot is the best portable option out of them, but a pretty small chamber if you take larger dabs you might have to take 2. Not to be rude, but don't even put the puffco dab pen in the picture it doesn't compare to these two without a 3d atomizer.

@cewpins granted this is with a reheat on each, so 6 to 8 total heat cycles. I should have mentioned this but I think it doesn't change the fundamental complaint
5:55 Puffco devices do not have "true" passthrough charging. If you hit a puffco device that is charging it stops charging and uses the battery and then goes back to charging. The fact that yours does not is a software issue, I think.
I noticed you said "it doesn't do the biggest hits" and right after admitted you never really use it on white setting or the boosted mode. Those kinda go hand in hand, it CAN produce massive clouds and absolutely sit you down. The versatility on this things is insane. I'm reaching for the pivot over the peak 9 times outta 10
@yessirr trust me I would only mention it if it’s a fire device and imo it hits harder than a terp slurper and definitely harder than a puffco, it’s by the same ppl who helped crossing make the core, the company is divine tribe
focus v Aeries is better in my personal opinion, snagged it for $129 on Black Friday which is another reason I feel like I can say it is better vs the regular Aeries price of $199. Another plus is the Aeries you can put a Intellicore Max chamber on it. I haven't even gotten my Max chamber and I love the stock device so far
More emphasis needs put on that point near the end. I noticed this when I bought my proxy. It cut my usage by 2/3rds easy. 1 gram a week turned to 1 every 2-3 weeks, You really do waste a lot with a banger or torch style rig. Even Nectar collectors waste a ton.
PROS AND CONS: Pros - Small disposable-like device, 3D chamber and can heat about 6-8 dabs on red setting. Cons - Have to hit it holding perfectly straight up at all times, top cover for hitting leaks every time you hit resulting in constant clean up for the device, and the difficulty of having to hit it very slowly so you don't inhale your dab. The main thing with this device is if you want to hit a dab with the smallest thing possible for portable use, then that is your best option, but if you look anywhere else on the market when it comes to stuff that do as much as the pivot does, for the price and fact that you can truly heat up dabs, its worth the clean up if you're just trying to get high a couple times with the buds somewhere. PS: You will also have to use toothpicks or something small to dig out the dabs that get stuck inside of the mouthpiece/carb.(I have used a pivot for 2 months now).
Sounds like you’re either taking way too big of dabs, pulling way too hard, or both. I have yet to need a heat setting above blue or green. I threw a 3 mm pearl in there. Make sure not to pull too hard. This thing hits like a champ, and I don’t even get anything shooting up towards the mouthpiece unless I know I pulled to hard
if you let the device cool/put it in the fridge and take the included dab tool, you can put it in the mouthpiece down the other side of the half circle airflow hole, touch the top of the mouthpiece, and pull out straight, itll actually yank out virtually everything almost perfectly due to the silicone they use. i find the easiest way is to do that and then hit the rest with iso, it also helps to drag your tool flat against the grommet that snaps into the base of the coil too

How do you feel about running the pivot with a terp pearl? Tried a 3mm pearl and it spun the concentrate to the rim of the atomizer lmao

Every try the Yocan evolve plus xl? I put the atomizer on a more powerful battery and it gives good hits with pretty good flavor

Another way to tell is there's usb-C cables that tell you how much power it's using. When you turn the pivot on, it stops charging.
I use the Yucan Orbitz daily. Would he curious to see you mess with that. Not the greatest invention but pretty clutch for otg dabs.
I dont use concentrates or even flower a whole lot. But thus looks way more convenient than the honey straw i have. The whole thing if torching a glass pipe really turns me off to straws but with having younger kids around a rig isnt a viable option.
Honey straws and bangers are quartz, not glass. It's a much stronger structure and will hold up to the heat much better than glass does.
So between the puffco dab pen, aeris dab pen or the pivot what do you recommend?
if you take massive dabs get the aeris just because of its massive chamber, it does get hot on bigger sessions. Not hot enough to where it worried me at all. The aeris battery life sucks you are going to have to plug it in a lot. I do like that you can set your own presets on the aeris. The pivot is the best portable option out of them, but a pretty small chamber if you take larger dabs you might have to take 2. Not to be rude, but don't even put the puffco dab pen in the picture it doesn't compare to these two without a 3d atomizer.

Not gonna lie the pivot actually is what’s getting me into actual real concentrates. It is getting me pretty loaded tbh more so than I was expecting especially for its price. It’s def made me want to check out the new peak though

I grabbed the pivot the week it dropped its definitely gotten me back into concentrates. I’ve hardly been touching my flower for the last two months. Is there any point to me getting the peak? Or would I be better off waiting a bit and saving up for the peak pro? Ive got the peak and definitely think it's a really nice upgrade over the puffco plus pen I had previously, but I think you wouldn't get that unless you went up to the peak pro. I still wouldn't upgrade until the pivot breaks. Your money will be best spent on a 3mm pearl and more Rosin 👍

Get a 3mm "diamondium" terp pearl from JCVap, makes the flavor and vapor production INSANE on the pivot
5:55 Puffco devices do not have "true" passthrough charging. If you hit a puffco device that is charging it stops charging and uses the battery and then goes back to charging. The fact that yours does not is a software issue, I think.

Truth is the pivot is most necessary part and function of the folding knife.
I noticed you said "it doesn't do the biggest hits" and right after admitted you never really use it on white setting or the boosted mode. Those kinda go hand in hand, it CAN produce massive clouds and absolutely sit you down. The versatility on this things is insane. I'm reaching for the pivot over the peak 9 times outta 10
Also, I put a terp pearl into mine, and while yes it does make it messy in there, the rips are way bigger and therefore justify it, IMO.

@yessirr trust me I would only mention it if it’s a fire device and imo it hits harder than a terp slurper and definitely harder than a puffco, it’s by the same ppl who helped crossing make the core, the company is divine tribe
focus v Aeries is better in my personal opinion, snagged it for $129 on Black Friday which is another reason I feel like I can say it is better vs the regular Aeries price of $199. Another plus is the Aeries you can put a Intellicore Max chamber on it. I haven't even gotten my Max chamber and I love the stock device so far

More emphasis needs put on that point near the end. I noticed this when I bought my proxy. It cut my usage by 2/3rds easy. 1 gram a week turned to 1 every 2-3 weeks, You really do waste a lot with a banger or torch style rig. Even Nectar collectors waste a ton.

PROS AND CONS: Pros - Small disposable-like device, 3D chamber and can heat about 6-8 dabs on red setting. Cons - Have to hit it holding perfectly straight up at all times, top cover for hitting leaks every time you hit resulting in constant clean up for the device, and the difficulty of having to hit it very slowly so you don't inhale your dab. The main thing with this device is if you want to hit a dab with the smallest thing possible for portable use, then that is your best option, but if you look anywhere else on the market when it comes to stuff that do as much as the pivot does, for the price and fact that you can truly heat up dabs, its worth the clean up if you're just trying to get high a couple times with the buds somewhere. PS: You will also have to use toothpicks or something small to dig out the dabs that get stuck inside of the mouthpiece/carb.(I have used a pivot for 2 months now).
Sounds like you’re either taking way too big of dabs, pulling way too hard, or both. I have yet to need a heat setting above blue or green. I threw a 3 mm pearl in there. Make sure not to pull too hard. This thing hits like a champ, and I don’t even get anything shooting up towards the mouthpiece unless I know I pulled to hard
if you let the device cool/put it in the fridge and take the included dab tool, you can put it in the mouthpiece down the other side of the half circle airflow hole, touch the top of the mouthpiece, and pull out straight, itll actually yank out virtually everything almost perfectly due to the silicone they use. i find the easiest way is to do that and then hit the rest with iso, it also helps to drag your tool flat against the grommet that snaps into the base of the coil too
