You're literally the reason I got into balisong flipping it has been over a year since I started practicing and it's my favorite hobby of all time. Genuinely thank you Edit: I went to the first italian competition and got 2nd
your confidence to do anything helped me start balisong flipping. Thank you for making videos and showing people the fact that you can achieve anything you put your mind to. You're awesome Mike!
Hi Mike, you probably won't see this but you motivated me to learn a front flip when I couldnt do one. I landed on my neck and didn't think I would do it because it hurt so bad. But I kept trying and I did it! I am now learning the back flip and hope to learn it this month. Thank you👍 ⚡️It's all about practice⚡️
I’m putting this is my Philosophy playlist because this guy is living proof of the best life lessons you can ever learn. Keep trying and you will succeed. Eventually.
Agreed. As long as mike doesn’t turn into a bad and clickbaity TH-camr, I’ll always watch him, but I miss videos like the backflip and the ones that really took him a while.
Thanks for the feedback man! I'm not sure if it would be as entertaining for me and for the audience to watch. The risk there is turning the vids into tutorials, and that's not the message I wanna share. Btw this video took me longer than any other vid I've ever made. In the past I would've made an entire video about just one of the skills you see here. I'll try to share more details about the learning process tho!
me: hey mike mike: yea? me: why do u make the skills its so hard to do and u keep going mike: i wanna show everyone nothing is impossible and never give up
I'm really impressed by all the skills you've mastered! However, for some skills, I'd like to see you succeed a couple more times, because when you succeed only once, it could be 'a lucky try'. With the magnet trick, the muscle-up and the DNA trick for example, did you really 'master' the skill when you only did it once? But more importantly, you've got my respect, great work man!
I got magnet and DNA 2-3 times, not the muscle up tho, you're right. I generally try again all the skills I learn while recording shorts or at the end of the year. But thanks for the feedback man, I'll keep this in mind!
@@MikeShake you should definitely try to learn the muscle up again and do it correctly, meaning both arms go over the bar at the same time. the way you did it isn’t considered a muscle up
@mike shake you are the best! Your hard work for our entertainment earns a lot of respect from me! I follow you on Instagram because of your hard work!
Isn't it more like stubbornness or dedication? If he was patient he would let his body heal up and come back another day to try again instead of pushing past his limits for the sake of our entertainment, wouldn't he?
It's amazing to see how many different skills you've learned in relatively such a short time. But that makes me wonder. Is there actually a skill that you found so interesting/fun to do, that you kept practising it to this day?
