Hi! I was admitted ED1 to the class of 2024! I wanted to know whether the grades at UChicago are as harsh as what people online say. My friends at school tell me that UChicago has really bad grade deflation, but I don’t know how reliable they are hahaha. Also, can you recommend some good restaurants in Chicago for me? Korean, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, Indian etc. thank you so much! Ps thank you for always putting so much effort in your videos. I strive to have your sort of work ethic 🤣
Congrats!!! You should be really happy and proud of yourself. Don't you worry for a moment about that grade deflation... at least not until you actually step on campus and choose your classes. Also tl;dr it's not THAT bad but it does exist I think! DM me on ig if you want more of an explanation!
What do you recommend to improve your reading skills. I'm really interested in going to U. Chicago and studying economics, but I know is a lot of reading. I would appreciate tips.
