Ms. Usha Uthup started as a singer singing in a club in the late 70's and early 80's, singing in a sari, when clubs were not considered places where ladies were supposed to go even accompanied, let alone by themselves and performing. She is a pathbreaker with an deep voice and guts to take on the world. She opened the doors for Indian women to the western music scene as performance.

I'm not a fan of Vishal Dadlani's singing in Hindi coz a. He sings only one style of high notes songs and b. His songs are always loud, peppy party numbers with little emphasis on lyrics But he abso-f---lutely killed it here
Vishal really killed that song at the end. I wasnt expecting him to be that good with the pronounciation and the grit and tone he added to it really worked well.

Actually English is taught religiously in indian schools and there are more English medium schools than hindi medium schools. English has became a very very important language in india and many many ppl like almost all the ppl in india can speak english fluently.
