What I experienced is that sometimes when I think I fired a blank shot, I actually did not miss, just the enemy's healthbar didnt register my first shot but it did take its damage, and when I shot my second bullet, the healthbar registered the first and second shot's damage. It happens with armored targets mainly, or its noticable on them rather. How odd!
paszmatyi That is something that can occur with all weapons off-host. However if you watch my Executioner Pistol Gun Run, you'll see some shots just don't register ever. It's likely that it suffers from the same issue as the Crusader, and perhaps a "hit-delay" is throwing some shots off.

I used to play him without pull and and grandes and fitess maxed out which is exactly how I play Asari Vanguard too, so it got boring.. tried this pull build and it's awesome ;)
Random observation regarding "do the math on it" for Cluster Grenades… An extra projectile (increasing 3 to 4) increases force and damage by 33%. The other evolution increases force and damage by 50%. So unless I'm missing something, Shrapnel is actually the weaker evolution by quite a bit.
"Shrapnel" actually bumps the power from 2, to 3 projectiles. Each one does 750 damage (1125 against barriers) at Rank 5. If you take the 50% bonus you'll max out at 2000 damage, whereas with "Shrapnel" you'll reach 2250.
***** Why would you max out at 2000 damage? If it's going from 2 to 3 projectiles, shouldn't it be identical except against armor, where the gating will favor Shrapnel over the 50% bonus?

No the majority of bonuses in this game are additive of the base value ( this is explained in depth in the ME3M: Quarian Infiltrator Video Guide), so "Force & Damage" at Rank 6 makes each projectile do 1000 damage. This is because, at their base; each projectile does 500 damage, so a 50% bonus is 250. 750 (at Rank 5) plus 250 (50% bonus of the 6b evolution) equals 1000, simple math. Without the Shrapnel evolution there are only two projectiles, therefore making Cluster Grenades hit for a total of 2000 damage. Armour mitigation does not effect explosives though.

Anyways, do you happen to know if Pull's 6a actually increases the damage to ALL targets hit by the Biotic Explosion (by 75%) or only of the pulled enemy ? The text would suggest that it is only the pulled one - which would be pretty disappointing.
On the Drellguard, or in general? Gotta say I think it's a bad idea for this class, and you'll know why if you do a search for the Particle Rifle on my channel. I've got all my vids tagged with the weapons that feature in them for your viewing pleasure.
I'm not going to play Destiny. I'd choose another several million credits worth of Cryo Rounds before I'll give Bungie my patronage again. Half a billion dollars went into releasing an unfinished game by the looks of it. It also looks like Bungie hasn't changed. I'm glad you enjoyed the vids though. I like the squishy vanguards like the drell, asari and N7 slayer. That is, until I try to fight the collectors, since I have a hard time constantly avoiding those pesky seeker swarms. Then I'm dead within seconds due to lack of biotic charging. And vanguards are kinda supposed to be on the front lines, where the swarms are. Any ideas how to deal with the collectors when playing charge-reliant vanguards?
+Skytstrax All you can do, is be wary of the Seeker Swarms. Kill or avoid them and it's business as usual. One good power combo makes short work of them.
+jsmiami As I stated in the commentary; the team's position forced the enemy into the open for most of the match, which diminished the effectiveness of the power combo as Cerberus was too spread out to hit. I'll get a better shot in the replacement video, until then I hope it's explained well enough for you.
I have a question, if anyone knows the answer, if you do a biotic, cryo, fire, or tech explosion does it stop the effects of the powers? For example: If I pull of a fire explosion does the D.O.T stop or does it continue, same with Warp and biotic explosions.
On the drell adept, wouldn't it make more sense to go for damage in the 6th rank of cluster grenades? That way 1 of the 2 very strong grenades hits for godly damage instead of 1 hits for very good damage and 2 for just good damage.
Ethan Huo It does, you'd be hard pressed setting off 3 combos if the pieces stuck together. Nothing getting closer can't fix though. The only enemies that need to be hit with all 3, are the big ones.

Platinum players are going to want to see that gear on you in advance, but honestly the difficulty isn't that big a step up from Gold. For the most part; Platinum just throws an abundance of durable, hard-hitting enemies at you which forces you to use more cover. You should see how I'm able to deal with a bunch of Atlases in this video. Platinum's really just a lot more of that. When you get your hands on a few more missiles though, you should check out INVADERONE's speed run tutorials. You'll find his channel featured here, it goes by the name of "N7SPECOPS".
+Mr Ziga Pistols might not be the way for you to go, to replicate this build. Tell me what your gamertag is and which platform you play on, and I'll recommend which of your weapons you should use. Otherwise you might just want to BC + CG with your Scorpion or Carnifex.

I have heard so many different theories from people that were contradictory that I really don't know what to think but I would love your thoughts.
I've put my two cents in a couple of videos already, regarding the store. There's only so much strategy you can apply to a random number generator. I advise you invest your credits intelligently, rather than bank on the lottery. You'll find my guides in the ME3M: Phoenix Adept Video Guide and ME3M: Asari Justicar Video Guide. I believe I start the gameplay on the subject.

Do the math. With "Shrapnel" you can hit for 8852 damage, with "Force & Damage" you can only hit for 7761.
