EM 2024: Arrival of guest teams and their accommodation - Ronaldo fans pay €250 for training tickets
A total of 24 teams will be staying in Germany for the 2024 European Championship and have chosen various luxurious accommodations. The German team is based in Herzogenaurach in a specially built campus with wooden bungalows, pools and large sports fields. The Portuguese are based in Gütersloh, where they were in 2006. Their training camp offers parks, several football pitches and a swimming pond. Tickets for the public training with Cristiano Ronaldo were in high demand and were sometimes resold for over €250. The Turkish team is in Barsinghausen and also enjoys a luxurious environment with five grass pitches and a wellness area. The French team has settled in Paderborn and trains at the SC Paderborn stadium. In contrast, the Scots are accommodated in a rather modest hotel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, but close to the training ground. The Scots do not have great demands and only need 200 kg of fresh ice per day for regeneration. The first game against Germany will take place in Munich and the Scots plan to make the game active.
