Thank you so much for all your lovely comments on this video. I feel I have to clarify that my parents were both born here not abroad. My father was Protestant and of German ancestry and my mother was Jewish and Polish. They met during WWII and fell in love. I always loved their story and wanted to share it with you through the Cross pendant and the Star of David pendant.

I don't know why but I can't sit through video tutorials so I usually skip through them and learn nothing, but yours are fun and I can watch through them. I learned a lot and though I won't be making these exact ones, I'll take techniques you taught :o) thank you!

Hooray for the "Chain Man"!! Ya just gotta love a hubby who jumps in to help when needed--he deserves a big hug! Thank you, Stephanie, for sharing loving memories of your Mom and Dad-both verbally, and through stitching this beautiful design.

Hahaha so funny!!!! I usually fall short when making a chain after designing a piece, so his help was invaluable. He didn't see it but when I put on the clasp I crushed a bead LOLOL (the last 8/0 on one side) 💙😁🙏

Stephanie, thank you for this special tutorial. Being Jewish, it is very hard to find holiday patterns for Hanukkah or other Jewish holidays and we’re all beading so much more at home. My mom, may she Rest In Peace would have loved this star and would have asked me to make it for her. I miss my mom too. I’m lucky my daddy is still with us and going strong. Happy safe healthy holidays to you!

Lovely to hear about your parents, I think of my very (British) Mum and Dad all the time, they endured the Second World War so the world could be free, I lost my very brave Dad to Alzheimer’s just last year and his demise still hurts so much. My Mum had great faith and I’ll make the cross for her and the Star of David for my Dad whose Mum was Jewish and who supported Jews all his life for his wonderful Mum who sadly passed away before I got the chance to know her. Thank you so much for these pieces that for me will be for remembrance as well as treasurable craft pieces. 🙏🏻🥰🥰🥰

Hi Stephanie! I’m so happy to hear your thoughts on making a star. I’ve been watching you for about 5,6,7 years(?) - still watch your first video ever made (peyote & square stitch bracelet) when I have made that great bracelet! - Your parents are truly a love story - I’m Jewish, my ex is Catholic but we had 2 great kids together (who will be 46 & 47) next month! 🤫 And BTW, my husband, who I now have been married to for 40 years, will be retiring next year - I wonder if I can talk him into being a “bead guy” like yours! Have a great day - have a nice Thanksgiving next week!

Oh Steph, it’s gorgeous!!!! I had no idea that your mom was Jewish!! Both of my parents are Jewish and my brother’s family is Orthodox. I’m going to definitely make this for my older nieces! (G-d bless him and his wife - they have 8 children!). I’m sure you want to keep your personal life private, but it’s nice to learn a little bit more about you. Pass on my compliments to the Chain Man!! That is truly a display of love for him to help you!
My youngest son is coming home from college on Saturday so Thanksgiving, this year, will just be the three of us. I speak with my parents every day and when we have seen them, we all wear masks. The thought of them catching this horrible disease scares me too much to risk being together for the holidays. Luckily, there’s FaceTime. My oldest son lives in Texas for his job and he’s not coming home due to the pandemic too. Thankfully, his girlfriend moved there with him (we’re all in Pennsylvania just outside of Philadelphia) so he’s not completely alone, but it’s hard. I know the vaccine is coming soon, but it’s not soon enough! I’m sure I’m not the only one who will be thrilled to have it, just so I can be with my family again, if nothing else! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours and thank you so much for this beautiful Star of David!

This information is from the company in France from which I order my crystals There is a delivery guarantee until then. Every seller will of course look for a replacement. It's of course good to know that the security of always being able to order everything will soon be over.So Stephanie's video with the alternative from China can now became important. You can hoard something ?!
