Hey 👋 - A couple quick, easy ideas for those ‘still in the closet’ ways to celebrate.
Inscence- if you’re not allowed to burn inscence, you can take a baking sheet (w/foil) & sprinkle cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice onto the sheet, (dedicating each one for it’s purpose) - heat in your oven at low/med temperature. *As this is being done, focus on the ingredients & what they’re representing- the smell sending the energy to the Arther & fulfilling your goal. (Give Thanks & raise the energy of what the goal feels like having already happened.) You can always say you’re just getting in the Autumn Mood.
Apples- (she mentioned them- but there’s so much more.) Of course we have the special pentagram symbol inside & that can be utilized in many ways.
You can dry cinnamon sprinkled slices in a low heat oven & use them as Talismans, a Spell Focus (burying it or sending it off into water.)
Make a wreath with them or other decor- calling in the energies you’re calling in.
But don’t forget the power of the apple & ingredients itself. Take the fruit & ingredients (charging each as you go)- and having already chosen a focus for each Apple (or just the one)- carve either symbols, runes or words that condenses you’re intent.
Charge each herb & oil, and mix all together into a small dish - then anointing the apple clockwise (for bringing in energies that you’re harvesting) anoint & rub the herb/oil into the apple’s inscriptions.
    * Rub your hands together creating energy and when it feels right- place your hands around the apple & push that energy into your spell.
If you CAN go further- carve a hole just big enough for a birthday, chime, Chanukah or tea light candle & firmly place on top. (You May have to cut the bottom to create a flat surface- usually not tho.
An extra element can be added to this Apple Manifestation or Thanks Giving Spell & that is by placing the Apple into a bowl of low water. You’ll want to add some of the herb mixture around the Apple sitting in the water & light the candle.
If done this way- here’s where you would rub your hands together and change the Spell.
You can raise further energy by movement & dance around the circle, rattles/drums- so many ways. Then release that energy to the Aether & Give Thanks for your prayers coming true.
If you’re REALLY having to ‘hide’ your practice- Make a Mabon/Autumn Thanksgiving or Manifestation Harvest pieced of Art. A Dream Board- or even something on a piece of paper.
If you’re old enough, wine and grapes are a big part of this second harvest- if not- grape juice or even baking something with apples or berries is a great way to consecrate & take communion of the Body & Blood of our Holy Ones.
If nothing else- seriously- just visualize whatever you’re working on or just Giving Thanks.
    Happy Mabon 2019

I was also going to add- for those of you barely starting out & unable to ‘practice’ openly- (even for many of us who’ve travelled this cycle many times)- this is a great time to indulge yourself in reading the various Stories about Mabon, the Gods & Goddesses of this Season & celebrate in that way.

Love your info (and hair 😍) but the wheel of the year is far more ancient than the Wiccan Religion, it is not an originally wiccan holiday, it was borrowed from ancient pagan traditional wheel of the year by Gerald Gardner when he created the wiccan religion. Mabon blessings ✌💫🔮

A "secret" way to do divination would be to get a nice small/medium ceramic or cut crystal bowl to keep charms in (the kinds that go on a charm bracelet) and when you draw your charms for divination you can wear them on your bracelet.
(You can also learn to read playing card, smoke, candle wax, dice or dominis, cloud formations, tea leaves, etc...)

I remember back in germany my grandma always used to say (on the normal new year), that you need to clean before the new year starts and also do laundry or the next year you will not be able to keep up, essentially, the way you leave things now will be a foreshadowing of how the entire year will be: not being able to keep up with cleaning and laundry. Not sure if this is the same in america, while I'm also american I've only lived here a few times on and off as a kid and teenager and again now as an adult for the past 6 years but I haven't heard anyone mention it
