I have never met a person in my life who dislikes kickers on any team unless they miss a game winning field goal (Cody Parkey). Like even when Tucker hit the 66 yarder to beat the Lions, Lions fans weren't saying "I hate Tucker," they were saying "Damn, Tucker is so good."

Imagine the Ravens offense knowing that all they have to do is move the ball pass midfield and they're almost guaranteed at least 3 pts every time.
As a Steelers fan I don't have to imagine it, it's so annoying knowing that when they get even into somewhat field goal range they're basically guaranteed to get 3 out of it at the least lol.
@@Nightwishmaster It's especially annoying considering for you folks how hard it is to get a reliable kicker weather wise cause its not the easiest to kick in Heinz Field for instance and I respect those who can like Boswell. Watching Seahawks football primarily, it was amazing to see the kicks Haushka could make in the rain and it made perfect sense when Buffalo got him. Tucker makes it look easy anywhere and its maddening because I mentioned 2 guys who anyone wouldve taken in most any era and their play is fantastic. But the Tucker guys on another level and its beginning to feel absurd. Respect!
@@Gungho73 Yeah I realize how that sounded in hindsight, Boz is ridiculously good and it's incredible to have him, I just mean the hopelessness of watching Tucker line up to kick it and hoping that he'll miss and knowing that he almost never will. I do absolutely love the Wizard of Boz though, it's also great having one of the most accurate kickers of all time and I genuinely didn't mean to take that for granted!

*TRUE STORY:* When my phone showed "Field Goal!!!" after he hit that 66 yarder, I restarted my phone. My son and brother were doing the same thing. He's that damn unbelievable.
My coworker at the time, big Detroit Lions fan, said he was lining up for a kick. And he was whispering into his phone "you broke my heart before..." because he had been clutch against that team in a prior game as well. Then he just buried his head in his desk and didnt say anything. Even with that, I couldn't believe he made that kick. When I think of big leg kickers, I dont think of Tucker for some reason historically. I think of guys like ol Sea Bass from the Raiders. But we better think of him that way now! Put respect on his name folks, that's a top 100 player and probably a future HOF.

@@Noah-fj5bm I think at this point Tucker is the greatest kicker ever. The most accurate kicker of all time and the longest FG and he's only 32. Anderson just played a lot of seasons. Tuckers will eclipse his achievements by the time he gets to 40 and he already has more All-Pro honors. What more can you say to prove Tucker is the best?

He's one of the greatest. But I think Goat status has to go to Adam Vinitari. That dude has made more clutch field goals in the the biggest moments in the biggest games under tons of pressure and nailed it every time.
I swear he's sent his team to a super bowl like 5 times and even won 2 maybe more.
But I think Tucker will go down as the kicker who had the most leg! As well as being damn near perfect accuracy. If he was put in the same positions Vinitari was in he'd probably make many.

The even crazier part of that 66 yard field goal. Was that it was in a dome stadium with no wind. He had no wind helping him push that ball that far. That was all LEG my dudes!
Dude will go down as one of the best kickers ever. But Vinitari I think really solidified himself as the GOAT of kickers. Dudes leg has put his team either in or to win the super bowl like 10 times. Maybe more. In the biggest moments in the biggest games on national TV, with a trip or trophy on the line. Pressure never affected him. Dude was mint everytime.

Being a browns fan that has to watch two games a year against Tucker, it's crazy how much he changes the feel of the game. Getting a lead isnt enough. And there's always the feeling in the back of your mind that no matter how well the defense does, it's almost certainly still within Tucker range. And it's terrifying

I had a huge parlay bet going on the weekend Tucker made his 66 yard field goal. It was a huge parlay, like 4-6 bets. I can't remember the exact number. But I do remember I needed Ravens to win and I was watching the game just freaking out. then when Tucker made the record I couldn't believe it. That kick won me 1400$. I lost it all the next weekend, but still an amazing moment

I think he's slept on. Should be top 20 honestly. He's such an underrated part of that offense. Just think about it. "Oh man we're 50 yards away 4th and 10 let's just get our 3". In those grind games against great defenses the ravens need that kind of consistency.

as a ravens fan when it comes down to the wire, the only real worry i have is getting into field position. once that done, the the anxiety passes. On the rear occasion he misses i don't even get upset.

Tucker should be on this list every year. I'll never understand the disregard for kickers. What other position has the entire last 60 mins or possibly even the entire season, with ALL the hundreds of people involved in what it takes to get through an NFL season, and all of it comes down solely to your foot. That pressure is unreal and Tucker thrives on it and comes through time n time again. Us Ravens fans are very lucky!
