as a college student who is willing to pay for the animal and the food but not a 300+ enclosure that the snake will outgrow anyways, i appreciate this a lot edit: this also seems way easy to clean in comparison
Great idea, but not nearly big enough for a boa constrictor, unless its a sand boa. Also, there is no ventilation on any of the enclosures in this video, this is not safe for long term.
Not sure he doesnt respond, but he showed that it was the zip ties. He snipped off the block and used it as a screw cover. I wouldn't even use that as it can scratch. Personally I'd use bolts and nuts, but if I did use zip ties it would be inside out not outside in. My two cents
Unlce i wanted to buy a bearded dragon and im a student so enclosure is expensive and then i asked to the bearded dragon seller can i do a enclosure using the storage box so he told me bearded dragon wont be alive until adult if its live inside a storage box is it true uncle?
I am actually trying to make one of these for my ball, maybe my king too. So the heat mats do Not melt the plastic? Also can u modify the tops for CHE bulb usage as well ?
I have my bin modified to allow a CHE by cutting out a section of the top and replacing it with wire mesv, mine is a different design than the video but should still work
My only issue is I don't see a heat mat, even on a thermostat won't get ambient high enough without supplement heat. How do u track humidity and heat levels?
I came here from FB where I saw your pics. This is *exactly what I want!

Thank you for the easy to follow video! Best one I’ve seen!
Airflow? Infrared light?
I’m asking the same thing
13:15 part of do you put it exactly the hooks and the tie

That's an easy fix. You can cut a hole in the top and add mesh. You could also drill more holes on the sides.
Hi there. cool video. what is the dimensions of the black tub with yellow lid ball python tub?
This is so helpful! Best video of this kind I've seen!
Yooo‘no I’m from Lubbock I was born there let’s go!!! Definitely gonna do this for my ball python
What kind of thermostat are you running so you know what your temps are and to shut off the heat mat if it fails
Im ising inkbird dual thermos on all my stuff
If you want lights, just cut out a square hole like he did with the windows on top of the lid and use chicken wire.
There should not be condensation build up on the alls or glass Need more ventilation other than that cool idea
I’m bout ready
What are those white cube that you screw inside the tub to cover the sharp part of the cup hook? Ty boss

why did you put hinges on it if you zip tied it shut?
cause they swing down and open
That’s really cool
Do you think this would work fine with the sterilite tubs? the walls are a bit thinner
Yes I have a thriving 4 year old ball in a sterilite.
So you don't put ventilation holes at top?
You could buy some very thin wire mesh and put some up top BUT don't add too much or else you will lose all of the humidity.
What happened to you?! 7 months since a video…. This was great:
Nice bro
I wish you would have gave a few more close up shots, instead everything being recorded at a distance.
do you make and ship these? I completely suck at making things lol.
I can yes send me a pm on instagram or facebook @Curts Creatures
@@curtscreatures5301 hi , how much would you charge more or less to ship a boa sized 1 to orlando Florida ?
What size is the acrylic sheet?
Unlce i wanted to buy a bearded dragon and im a student so enclosure is expensive and then i asked to the bearded dragon seller can i do a enclosure using the storage box so he told me bearded dragon wont be alive until adult if its live inside a storage box is it true uncle?
True you can look for BD enclosure built that won’t cost you much do your research BD dyi enclosures built on YT
Bearded dragons do not do well in humid environments. They are a desert lizard and need dry heat
I am actually trying to make one of these for my ball, maybe my king too. So the heat mats do Not melt the plastic? Also can u modify the tops for CHE bulb usage as well ?
If you hook the heat may up to a thermostat then you can control the temp and make sure it doesn’t melt
I have my bin modified to allow a CHE by cutting out a section of the top and replacing it with wire mesv, mine is a different design than the video but should still work
Only issue with that is that u can't stack them!
So in your tubs do you put vent holes at all
The vent holes are where the acrylic door sits against tub under the raised part you can see close up pics at curts creatures on fb
@@curtscreatures5301 thanks for the quick response. I enjoyed the video looking forward to more content
Hope u dont have lil ones
My only issue is I don't see a heat mat, even on a thermostat won't get ambient high enough without supplement heat. How do u track humidity and heat levels?
Me: Watches the video
Him: I’m building this one for a friend
Me: can you build mine…?
Later me: PLEASE…!
What size is the acrylic sheet you used
Home Depot has pre cut pieces just get one that you like and trace it on tub then cut 1in inside that line
