Great short documentary on Destin. Ive lived in Destin for 50 years, my hole life. In that sort time I've seen a rapid change. I would say that a very small amount of visitors go to our history museum and get to see any of its history. That being said, I hope your video starts popping up when people search for Destin in TH-cam and other platforms. Good luck.

I've lived in Destin for 35 years. In the late 80s and 90s Destin was a beautiful small town with just enough tourism to make a great living. Now Destin is a tourist hell hole. Traffick is a nightmare, corporate retail stores have replaced ALL mom and pop shops and are stacked one on top of the other. Real Estate taxes have sky rocketed and the price of real estate is OUTRAGEOUS. Crime is out of control. I despise this town now and I use to feel so blessed to live here. They call this "progress"

Dang, I feel for ya. I was there a few years ago with my family. We stayed near Henderson Park. Other than the beautiful beaches, the town itself felt like one huge tourist trap. It's sad because the place is absolutely beautiful.
