These are so fascinating! My former neighbor owned the Brass Ass.... I wonder if he was involved in mob activity! So fascinating, especially bc I grew up in Ft Wright/Covington and remember a lot of these fires happening as a kid

Peter, in all the FOYA info, did you see anything about Jack Ruby and William H Door?

Did you explore the story of the BH employee whose son was kidnapped and later found dead in the swimming pool?

I wonder if they removed the basement or just buried it with other debris.

Two consistent things about criminals cleaning up after major crimes: they are not very bright, and they are lazy.
It is HIGHLY likely that all the evidence is still on site. The site was bulldozed, but it was not cleared. The site today is covered with debris. It would need a major archeological dig, that would take about a year.

Excellent presentation. One thing though, concerning what was said at about 25:30. Bobby Kennedy used an open car during his 1968 Presidential campaign, a 1968 Imperial.

Sheez! A club fire a year?
Could the Grove(1942) and Rhode Island(Feb. 2003) have been mob hits also?

The "Station" fire in Warwick Rhode Island, was not a mob hit.
The enter sequence of events that represented the beginning of the Station Night Club Fire, were caught on video for the world to see. Pyrotechnics that were part of the band performance, ignited flammable acoustic foam, stage left... and the fire RAPIDLY grew from there. Within 5 minutes, they had a holocaust on their hands.

@@gwencrawford737 Maybe not a mob job then, but the owners sure were itching to be rid of it

@@Zickcermacity the owners of the Station nightclub (The Derderians) had the club sold. The new owner had the cashiers check prepared. The sale was scheduled for the next week so your hypothesis is incorrect.
