Amazing. Honestly, I rarely find videos of someone riding to be actually that fun to watch. Great job. You should make more of those.
I normally do; however, my main rider.., TaZz was in an unfortunate accident while a spectator at an EUC event. He was hit by a rider speeding on a race track and was hit on the head. Suffered a concussion, broken jaw, nose and damaged 5 of his teeth. He's throwing in the towel and I truly hate to see him leave the sport, because he was truly entertaining to watch. Hopefully, the rest of us can bring his enthusiasm in the vids.

I’ve been injured with surgeries from riding. Just outside my accident I would imagine riding and get adrenaline and feel nauseous. But that went away. Wishing him well.
@@isaiahnoah 🙏, I know he'd thank you. Having sustained multiple injuries and two operations stemming from EUC riding, I've yet have the notion to throw in the towel. It is just too relaxing to me besides the rush I get at trying new things. I too wish him a speedy recovery and pray he gets back into it, but much wiser for the wear. 😉

Sorry for the delayed response., I was not notified of any comments posted to this video. (SMH) At any rate, now that the weather is starting to warm up, we will definitely be riding more. We tend to ride in DC, MD and VA. Mostly the VA rides are hosted by the DCESK8 crew. They are a lot more slower and relaxing.

While a spectator at an EUC race rally, he was leaning over some folks to see a rider speeding on the track. Unfortunately he was leaning too far in and the rider couldn't react in time and hit TaZz on the head full send. He suffered a concussion, broken jaw, nose and damaged 5 of his teeth. He's throwing in the towel for now. Very unfortunate and I will sorely miss him. :(
Very entertaining but a bit risky with the Carving.& lack of passing protocols in such a tight group...with leaves & drains about x2 near rider misses & a fist bump on wheels? geez..
That said it made me realise There's more grip in these wheels than I've been rolling at.
Thank you for your feedback and support even in light of the fact you had concerns about the way in which we challenge the laws of..., you name it and we violated it. But on a serious note, we are aware of the inherent risk of what we do and are mindful of our skill sets. Not one of us pushed these wheels beyond what we are capable of. Can a misstep cause an accident, sure. But we've been riding around one another and on these same streets enough to know what we can and should not do and where not to do it. Just saying.
@@VeeEUC Totally understand but don’t misunderstand me sometimes I ride worse, I tried to out run the police on my MSP because I ran a red light they nearly tasered the big Jesus out of me, I’m no saint on the wheel lol. (UK flavour).
@@DEFACTO9 even when leaned to the point of pedals scraping, the wheels have lots of grip for maneuvering. However on compromised terrain (wet leaves, gravel, and cold) compromises are made to maneuverability. I promise nobody came close to injury in this ride, and I'd gladly admit otherwise, if that were the case

Unfortunately TaZz has thrown in the towel and is on the mend. He had a serious concussion, broken jaw, nose and damaged 5 of his teeth. As for me, I'm trying to get this ankle of mine strong enough so it's not stiffening on me throughout the day. Thank you for checking in on me and TaZz. I appreciate it.

@@DEFACTO9 He attended an EUC Carnival that consisted of track races and while not riding, he was hit full send on the head by a ryder on the track and sustained a major concussion, broken jaw, nose and damaged 5 of his teeth. As a result of this incident, his family made the decision to retire him from the sport, sadly enough.

You are DEFINATELY correct; however, the weather is NOT acting right on top of the fact one of our Boyz were involved in a bad accident that left extensive damage to his jaw, teeth and nose. Once he heals and or the weather warms up enough to blaze the DC roads without wind push back, we will be on it. Lol

Love your channel. Have watched a ton of your videos. You and a few other channels were instrumental in my buying a Veteran Sherman. My TH-cam channel www.TH-cam.com/CruisingOffDuty has been mainly a travel and sailing based channel but I feel a PEV and particularly a EUC is the perfect personal mobility device for sailors that go to shore but then need a way to get around and explore the countryside. So I plan to start a whole new chapter on the channel covering my Sherman and, maybe eventually in the future, covering smaller EUCs or Electric Scooters as my wife currently has nothing to explore with me.
I plan to say nothing but great things about your channel and a select number of other channels and I plan to put your Channel Name in the video and the full channel link in the description. I think we need to bring even more exposure to the benefits of EUCs. I wanted to give you this heads up. I assume you will be good with the extra exposure?

Sorry for the delayed response; however, thank you for pointing out our lack of speed. The title is the name of the group and often times when we go out on group rides we have folks with slower wheels. So full sending isn't always in the cards on those days because we don't believe in turning people away nor leaving people behind. That's not what we're about.
