    Whoaaa 😮! It's so aggressive at 12:56 , a real war beast 👍😎. It makes ideas for "what if" projects 😁. Nice job, sincerely yours 🍻.

    And another awesome looking model from The Doc. Great job, my friend. The kit itself looks great, too. A lot of detail for 1/72 with plenty of decal options. Looks like a must-have-kit.

    Another masterpiece. Beautiful camo. I so wish to do an Israeli Kfir or F-16 now. I also love freehand camouflage and the best freehand camos I ever made were the 5-tone camos on a Soviet MiG-21SMT (1/72 scale) and a MiG-25 (1/144 scale). Yet for other simpler camo schemes I use masking tape today 🤔
    It amazes me how you can get the suoerb straight line on the underside without overspray.

      Thank you Sherbir.I am glad you like it.Just go ahead and get yourself a F-16 in 1:72.There are plenty of nice models out there.From hasegawa to revell.I also have a Kinetic F-16I Sufa to build.And I plan to film it.What do you think?Should I?

    Nicely done. AMK made very good kits. To bad they do it very rarely. I’ve done this model, but used Eduard PE set for cockpit. Your variant looks nice to.

    What did you use for your homemade wash and what did you wipe it down with? What did you use for the chipping effects

    • @doctormig2709
      @doctormig2709  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The wash is rotring drawing ink mixed with water and liquid soap.I wiped it with a moistened toilet papet.Moistened with water.And the chipping effects were done with the hairspray techniquem

    You are the best. Do you paint the cockpit in transparent gloss before washing?

    • @doctormig2709
      @doctormig2709  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you very much.I did not this time.The paint was semiglos and a lacquer based so I had no need to gloss coat it for the wash.I just matt coat it after.

    • @doctormig2709
      @doctormig2709  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you.The gloss coat was actually future/pronto floor wax.I brushpaint it in 2-3 layers.The matte coat is Vallejo Matt Acrylic Varnish 26.518.

    Outstanding job! I am building a Tamiya version of this plane and using my new Badger airbrush for the first time on it. I have to ask what clear coat spray do you use? I am looking at Vallejo gloss and matte for the airbrush but their are probably others thatare cheaper as well?

    I have seen a lot of photos of the IAI Kfir and other modern jets, but none of them had the pronounced wide grooves, further enhanced by black paint. Perhaps you should do the same and study some high quality photos of the original to achieve "museum quality" models. Currently it seems to be "chic" to apply these unrealistic grooves together with the unavoidable chipped paint on the rims of every hatch. There are enough videos on youtube with mediocre modelbuilding presentations. I would like to see more above average models.

    • @doctormig2709
      @doctormig2709  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the comment :) well this hobby is actually a really subjective thing.If you want your models to look like toys than go for it.If that is what makes you happy I am totally ok with it.I personally want my models to look a bit weathered and more interesting.It is just a personal preference and nothing more.Btw google it if you weant to and you can find a lot of pictures of weathered kfirs around and not only of freshly painted examples you speak about ;)
